The story follows Kimberly, who with her younger sister’s name, fulfills the requirement of being a virgin in order to marry the second young master of the Yardley family. But, of course, the truth doesn’t stay hidden for long.
Slapped with documents detailing her deception, Kimberly has no option but to plead with the man who held her future in his hand. If she gets kicked out, Kimberly’s family will be worse off. Chapter Three
Kimberly is caught. Maddox tells her to leave the house immediately. She stops Maddox from leaving and asks why it should matter that she isn’t a virgin because he can’t be intimate with her anyway. Maddox doesn’t waste time proving that he really can have intercourse.
In the process, he inadvertently makes Kimberly relive a traumatic experience. And when he pushes Kimberly to please him, she actually retches.
Chapter Six
Kimberly arrives at the company to fulfill her duties as Maddox’s assistant. His elder brother, Benedict, helps her in, and Kimberly can’t help but compare the two brothers.
When she arrives at Maddox’s office, Kimberly meets a strange scene. She watched a young woman insult and derogate Maddox with the reason of his disability. Kimberly doesn’t hesitate to slap the woman multiple times, and send her running away from the office. Maddox is impressed. But, with something more up his sleeve, he allows her to be his assistant.
Chapter Eleven
Maddox found out that Kimberly is pregnant. He wants her gone as he assumes that she came into his family hoping to get him to take care of the child. Kimberly refutes that, and Maddox gives her the choice of aborting the child in order to stay in his family. He gives Kimberly three days to get the abortion.
