Part 1: Plot Summary of Uncovering My Wife’s Secret
The story is about a young woman named Annalise. She lost her parents while she was very young. As a little girl, she did not understand much when her uncle who was supposed to take care of her assets until she turned twenty years old, sent her away from his house and to the countryside to live with relatives that tortured her almost all the time.
They brought her back this time thinking they would manipulate her into giving away the things her mother had kept for her. Annalise was sent to the countryside, but that did not mean she was a bumpkin with no idea about the world around her.
All this nonsense comes in the same vein as a possible marriage that would happen for one of the two young girls of the family. Guess what crap these people pulled. Yes, Annalise had her boyfriend stolen by her cousin. So, Abigail chose to sleep with Annalise’s boyfriend to take the responsibility off her head.
Annalise catches the two wretches in bed together and even hears their plans to take everything she had. Annalise stormed in and took pictures. After saying her piece and kicking the cheating bastard she left.

Annalise came back this time, and it was to take back everything that belonged to her. Both her assets and her rights. She isn’t foolish or blind to the fact that her uncle didn’t want to let go of her shares. She merely bides her time, waiting for the right moment to take it all back. In the meantime, she shows fake complacency with this family of wicked and pathetic souls.

There was a time when Annalise wouldn’t have been wary of her uncle and his family. But she now understood the fake smiles and the unreal emotions that they displayed in front of her.
A woman with a shroud of mystery that isn’t so easily seen through. Annalise is a surprising protagonist. Her life wasn’t easy all these years ad she still somehow managed to come out of everything with amazing qualities and capabilities. The environment she had been subjected to, played a vital role in shaping her to be a reasonable but ruthless woman. She chooses her battles very wisely.

Chapter Five
When they heard Julian introduce himself as the eldest son of the Parks family, everyone was stunned. Kent exchanged glances with his wife who was also dumbfounded. Abigail was in disbelief too. She scrutinized Julian and found that none of the rumors had any basis. She thought of how handsome he was and was overjoyed. She wanted to marry him right then and there.
Annalise who found out that Julian was the person they had thought was fifty-two, came to a realization. The male had intentionally spread all those rumors because of people like Abigail.
Kent pulled himself together and after a polite greeting to Julian, he turned to Samuel and wanted to discuss the wedding date. Samuel chuckled and concurred. He also mentioned that Julian intended on giving 300 million to Ms. Barton as a betrothal gift.
Abigail who heard about the betrothal gift was excited and shot a flirtatious glance at Julian. Julian returned a glare in her direction.
Kent tried to feign modesty, but Samuel insisted. He told Julian to hand the card to Ms. Barton and at this point, the Kent family focused their eyes on the card.
Samuel spoke a few more words that held a hidden meaning about Kent’s reluctance to give his daughter away. Kent did not notice. However, his smile froze as he saw Julian handing the card to Annalise. Kent tried to correct Julian, but nothing changed.
