The tale revolves around a great and coveted old Empire. Rulers all over the world had fought to gain its reign, yet no one succeeded. The only wars that affected the people living in the empire were the internal ones.
Heirs never waited their turn to rule. Instead, they continuously overthrew their predecessors and took on the reign. No family of a ruler had been able to linger in the Imperial mansion.
Although the ones holding the throne struggled to have as many heirs as possible to maintain its supremacy, there was always one enemy lurking and waiting to kill the family with all their offsprings and take its place.
It was a never-ending life and death circle, consuming and dangerous. Now, an Empress took the reign, openly declaring that she would never have a child of her own. Instead, she planned to name her nephew as her heir.
No one knew why she chose to do so. Her brother, the God Of War had helped her take over the throne, but her decision was still considered odd.
A man in a blue attire stays in front of the Imperial guards, anxiously waiting to see the Empress. He had a paper in his hand which she showed to the guard who laughed uncontrollably while wishing the man good luck.

She wasn’t going alone, she was taking her friend and cousin Tessa with her. While traveling to Eastern Kingdom, Yassim told the girls King Ashen’s tale. He was rumored to have died few years back and returned from the dead two years ago.
When he came back, his hair was white and his thirst for revenge was great. He murdered his own father and took over the kingdom. He battled everyone, being the judge and executioner and instilling fear in people.
Now, to stop the madness, he needed a strong queen to gain respect and show dominance.
Upon arriving to the kingdom, Yassim is surrounded by guards, who urged him to appear in front of King Asher. Cessi learns that the old man deceived them and that he had actually been exiled, breaking the law by returning.
Yassim didn’t particularly want to deceive the young girls, he merely wanted to return to his kingdom as Ashen had put an impossible request for him to be allowed back home. He had to present a worthy Queen for the White King.
Cessilia learned that she had to compete with nine other women to be Ashen’s Queen. Surprising everyone, she agreed. Even Ashen was taken aback. He learned to hate people, yet Cessi intrigued him a lot with her purity.

Part 2: The Beautiful Princess And Her Cold King In The White King’s Favorite
Cessilia is a gorgeous princess. Aside for the fact that she has everything she needs to be a wonderful Queen, she is also very much capable of saving a kingdom.
Cessi has the ability to command legions of dragons, making her a true asset for the White King. She is also considerate and pure, never backing down from saving someone in distress. She saved the wise Yassim when the man deceived her and brought her to Ashen under false pretense.
She is the one who will manage to melt the King’s icy heart and make him fall in love with her. She is his favorite during the competition, earning all contests laid for her and the other girls willing to marry Ashen.
The White King earned his name after returning home with his hair white, having missed for years and everyone assuming he was dead.
He came back as a changed man. He was colder and bolder, seeking a Queen for his throne only for the benefit of his own people.
