Arabella found her biological parents. One day the Murphy family out up an advert about Arabella and her a availability as an orphan looking for her real parents, and a family actually contacted them, claiming Arabella. It was as if the Murphy family could not wait to humiliate Arabella the way they did after they were sure that she was leaving them.
Firstly, whoever contacted the Murphy family concerning Arabella, gave the impression that Arabella’s patents were very poor, and that they lived in a shabby part of town. After the Murphy family were supposedly sure of that fact according to The Princess And The Pauper Novel, they placed themselves high above her, claiming that they had taken care of Arabella so we’ll and given her a life that was far from her in the first place.
Arabella had to take a lot of insults from the Murphy family, especially from Olga, her foster mother, and Yolanda, her foster sister, who went as far as framing Arabella up for stealing her worthless bracelet. Little did the Murphy family know that Arabella’s family was in fact, wealthier than them multiple times over.

Part 1: Main Plot Of The Princess And The Pauper
If only the Murphy family knew that Arabella was not who they thought she was on the sense that her family were over the top, wealthy beyond words. The Murphy family thought they had done the most by raising and taking care of Arabella for so long when she was originally from a humble family according to The Princess And The Pauper Novel.
The Murphy family received feedback from Arabella’s family after they dared to reach out to the public in search of her real parents. Whoever spoke with Mr. Murphy from Arabella’s family, have off the impression that Arabella’s family were hopelessly poor. As a result, the natural disrespect that comes from anyone that feels bigger than the other especially financially, landed on Arabella’s head.
As if all the humiliation and I’ll treatment that Arabella faced while she had been with the Murphy family were not enough, they put the final nail on the coffin while Arabella prepared to officially leave the Murphy family. After giving her a tongue lashing that she did not deserve, Yolanda Murphy, who was the original daughter of Mr & Mrs. Murphy (Arabella’s foster parents) struck.
Yolanda set Arabella up, claiming that Arabella stole her bracelet, and just when Arabella was about to get reprimanded, Yolanda pretended to be a saint, claiming that she would agree to let Arabella have the bracelet, since selling it would go a long way in helping Arabella’s poor family. She suggested that since Arabella wanted the bracelet so badly, that she should have it. Meanwhile it was herself, Yolanda who planted the ring in Arabella’s body.
Arabella collected the bracelet from Yolanda and threw it in the thrash can to everybody’s surprise especially her foster mother, Olga who could not believe the audacity of Arabella.
The woman just wanted to do away with Arabella, she had done enough in the first place. While the family were having the back-and-forth argument, the chauffeur that would take Arabella to her real family arrived, and as if things could not get any worse, the man arrived in a battered Rolls Royce. Arabella, according to The Princess And The Pauper Novel, was the first person to meet and greet the chauffeur, who apologized to her for arriving in such a car.
There had been an accident earlier, where the chauffeur had heavy impact with a truck that almost destroyed the entire car but thankfully, he was able to drive all the way to meet Arabella, who did not mind about the fact that the car was in a poor state or not. All she wanted to do was leave. The chauffeur, just before he took Arabella away from the Murphy family, tried to deliver the gift that Arabella’s family had prepared for the Murphys.
While the chauffeur was getting the gift ready, Olga, Yolanda and Mr. Murphy were already looking at the battered car with disgust, wondering how poor Arabella’s family were. The car looked extremely bad. They all felt pity for Arabella. When the chauffeur brought the gifts that no longer looked attractive due to the accident to the Murphy family, they rejected it, thinking that it must be a worthless piece.
Mr. Murphy was the person that spoke on behalf of the Murphy family, claiming that Arabella’s family did not need to bother with gifts. It was too much for them to afford even. If only Mr. Murphy and the entire Murphy family knew what was inside the package, they would have accepted it whole heartedly.
According to The Princess And The Pauper Novel, the chauffeur left with gifts like the keys to an estate, and other heavy benefits just because the Murphy family thought they were too big to accept a gift from a family as low and helpless as Arabella’s. That was how they missed out on such great gifts and Arabella left the Murphy’s house with the chauffeur. While they were leaving, Yolanda noticed something as she looked through the window at the car that Arabella was being driven away in.
The plate number of the car indicated that it belonged to a wealthy family from a wealthy part of the city. Yolanda thought she was not seeing correctly, so she asked her mother to come and have a look. How on earth did the extremely poor Arabella and her family lay their hands on such exclusive plate number. Olga quickly waved it aside, claiming that it was a write off, and that there was no way Arabella’s family could be living in the area that the plate number of their car indicated.

Chapter 1
“This might be the last time we have dinner together. Can’t believe your biological parents are taking you away so soon.”
Those were words said by Arabella’s foster father. He found out that Arabella was not his child after he needed a blood transfusion and their different DNAs were spotted. He looked for and found his real daughter, Yolanda, and he also found Arabella’s parents. The bottom line of this chapter of The Princess And The Pauper is that Arabella was saying her final goodbye to the Murphy family, and it came with a lot of drama.
It was at that point that Olga knew that her husband, Mr. Murphy was spoiling Arabella too much. Arabella had been living with the Murphy family for as long as she was born, was she not being spoiled as at then? Now Olga would not even have Mr. Murphy be nice to Arabella even for the last time.
“Whenever I think about how we’ve been treating this child like a treasure all these years while Yoli suffered outside, I feel heartbroken.”
Indeed. Olga regretted the years that she had spent with her husband investing time and money into Arabella, a girl that was not their daughter. Now, she felt heavy disdain towards Arabella and would see to it that Mr. Murphy abruptly stopped whatever favours he usually bestowed on Arabella. Thankfully, her “wretched” parents were coming to take her away, so she could leave the Murphy family alone.
“Arabella, my wedding with Zachary is on the first of October. You’ll come right?”
Gloating had started as Yolanda now asked Arabella the question above obnoxiously, knowing fully well that if not that she had been found, Arabella was supposed to be the person getting married to the said Zachary but since the original daughter of the Murphy family had been found, Arabella was tossed aside. Yolanda was saying the statement above to upset Arabella, little did she know that Arabella, in fact, did not need to get married to Zachary, she was good all by herself and with her extremely wealthy original family.
