The President Is Being Shameless Again tells the story of Lin Chu who wasn’t very lucky with her family. Although Lin Chu was born to a rich influential family she was just adopted which caused her to be treated unfairly most of the time.
In The President Is Being Shameless Again, Lin Chu’s lifestyle was that in the upper class, if she’s not having a business meeting, she’s partying then, and that’s where she meets Yan Beicheng.
Actually, their first meeting was a disaster. It happened when Lin Chu carelessly entered the men’s restroom and saw Yan Beicheng in there in his most awkward situation. Furious for feeling disrespected, Beicheng tried to kiss her.
Instead of sensing danger, Lin Chu wondered why she was feeling delighted then, maybe because the man was handsome. Later on, she learned that the handsome hooligan was the mighty Master Yan of the Eight Dominant Family.

The Characters
Lin Chu of The President Is Being Shameless Again is elegant and educated, and even though she’s not a real elite by blood she can mingle well with the rich people. Lin Chu of The President Is Being Shameless Again is the type of usual female that you can see in a Chinese novel.
I’m actually tired of reading the same generic female lead in Chinese romance novels, like females who are being mistreated, and caught up in certain family cultures. These are all commonly generic.
I am honestly looking for a different characterization of a female lead, and I was a bit relieved to see Lin Chu, at least here in The President Is Being Shameless she’s a little different from those female leads I’ve read.
She’s mistreated but she fights back. She’s cheated but good thing she’s got some self-love. Also, she does not allow herself to be trampled on by her adopted sister.
Another thing that added flavor to The President Is Being Shameless Again is Master Yan’s character.
Actually, his character was the center of the story, it’s the charm that carried this through. The President Is Being Shameless Again actually refers to Yan Beicheng’s character. He was described here as a hooligan, not because he’s really one, but because he’s acting like one despite his glamor.
He’s a bad boy who falls hard, and when he falls he’ll use all her power to protect his beloved. This is what I’m looking forward to seeing in Yan’s character here in The President Is Being Shameless Again.
The Plot
The plot of The President Is Being Shameless Again is very common. I always encounter this kind of storyline especially in Chinese novels as I said earlier. To be honest there’s nothing striking about the plot of The President Is Being Shameless Again except that Yan Beicheng. His characterization is what made the plot of The President Is Being Shameless Again charming.
Also, I would like to take note of the conflict of The President Is Being Shameless Again. Could there be another conflict aside from the female lead being cheated by her sister? Almost all Chinese romance novels I’ve read had that conflict. So, I think The President Is Being Shameless Again will stand out more if it was a little more unique than the others.

If you are fond of reading office romances like CEO or President protagonists, I’m sure you will love The President. I like this novel more because the conflict here is not generic, the storyline is unique and this book is giving us lots of characters to love. The storytelling is clear too.
