Linda
Linda is the main protagonist of The Merman My Man, and indeed the merman is her man.
She’s a researcher at a Japanese maritime university who is obsessed with the merfolk. She’s slim and pale. She’s the merman’s mate. Although she seems docile, Linda is a very smart person, who’s beautiful and has strong willpower.
She’s kind, and caring which is why she had tasked herself to treat the merman when she noticed his injury.
The Merman
The merman is Linda’s mate. He’s majestic, young, and tall, about three meters tall. He has a muscular upper body, with perfectly sculpted abs and an iridescent black tail so powerful that a single movement from it has enough strength to produce a huge engulfing wave.
Linda believes he’s a demon because of his pervert tendencies.
The merman has hypnotizing abilities and his body is usually cold. His tailfin has red speckles on it and he has webbed hands. He also has superhuman strength, and is absurdly more handsome than an average human, with his seaweed-like hair.
An interesting fact is that he has a reproductive organ that resembles that of a human although it turns purple when he’s in need, concealed in his tail.
Gary

Even after being warned by her professor Gary to not go near the merman by herself, Linda was still stubborn and went to him to check him out herself. In the course of her expedition, she discovered he had an injury that she surmised could be a shark attack, and so she decided to treat him.
When she went to treat the merman, Linda noticed that he was horny around her and even though it sounded ludicrous, after a weird drama between them, the merman refused to release her until she jerked him off, which she did when she realized she had no choice.
