Qin Ye’s ‘The CEO’s Sudden Proposal’, a billionaire romance involves a romance between an arrogant domineering CEO named He Qiaoyuan and a female doctor in Qin City’s hospital named Qin Yiyue.
The story begins with the female protagonist Qin Yiyue who was treating He Weifei aka Xiaobao, the son of He Qiaoyuan’s deceased brother.
Their interaction was short and lovely but the scene depicted the main attributes of Yiyue’s personality, which are kindness and care.
It was fun to witness a female protagonist with a harmonious personality which is rare to encounter in this genre.
Although Xiaobao’s cuteness has held a special place since that time for Xiaobao it was Yiyue, her love, and tenderness won his heart and he decided to make her his mother.
This is when the story took an interesting turn as on his son’s persistence, Qiaoyuan sent a marriage proposal for Yiyue after meeting her a couple of times.
Through this particular incident, the author, Qin Ye tremendously showed in-depth insight into the characters which helped us to get to know them better.
As it was shown Yiyue loved Xiaobao since their first meeting but whether or not she will accept her father’s proposal kept me on the hook.
The story is relatively fast-paced without repetition of plots and has a great storyline.
The character development of characters has been amazingly done. Furthermore, there were some places where I got annoyed especially with a few illogical interactions but for someone, like me who is a huge fan of billionaire romance, this book is a treat to read.

Qin Yiyue
Qin Yiyue is the female protagonist of ‘The CEO’s Sudden Proposal’. She is a doctor in one of the Qin City hospitals – Yade Hospital and has an alternative English name, ‘Hazel Qin’.
Despite being a beauty with a tall statue, she had low self-confidence. Particularly due to the other female doctors in the hospital. Their married status and higher educational qualifications unlike hers created a sense of insecurity in her mind.
In the first chapter itself, I got to see the little traces of her actual personality. Just like Xiaobao, her little patient, I was also moved by her kindness and care.
Although she was harmonious but dared to stand up against wrong.
So it is safe to say that besides some flaws in her character, Yiyue is one of the best female protagonists in the fictional world.
He Qiaoyuan
He Qiaoyuan is the central character of The CEO Sudden Proposal with whom other characters are closely knitted together.
He is domineering, controlling, and one of the richest CEOs of Qin City. His strong aura was perfectly depicted by the author in his first appearance with the ample number of bodyguards in the story.
Although he was arrogant for the world of Xiaobao, he tended to do anything then be it marry a woman whom he just met a couple of times.
From a controlling and arrogant man to the most lovable and caring husband his character has a great development till the end of the story.
He Weifei aka Xiaobao
Xiaobao is a little kid and was the son of He Qiaoyuan’s deceased brother.
Although he didn’t know about that and is living a life as the biological son of He Qiaoyuan.
He played the role of cupid in the love story of He Qiaoyuan and Qin Yiyue.
Part 3: What’s The Best Plot Of The CEO’s Sudden Proposal?
The first scene of the story has a background setting of a hospital mainly called Yade Hospital. There the female protagonist of the story, Qin Yiyue was trying to interact with a little patient, Xiaobao who had already messed up the emergency room.
Although she wanted to teach him a lesson, his one look, especially his eyes and the fact that he couldn’t speak due to some past trauma created a sense of sympathy towards him in her mind.
Meanwhile, her love and tenderness touched Xiaobao’s heart and he wanted to make her his mother.
When He Qiaoyuan got to know that his son is comfortable around that female doctor and wanted her as his mother, he sent a marriage proposal to her even though they had a couple of interactions.
Whether the strong-willed Yiyue accepts his sudden marriage proposal or He Qiaoyuan will find another way to keep her at his side is the most interesting to follow up in this story.
