The CEO’s Pregnant Wife is an intricate combination of urban fantasy and the realism of modern-day romance. Its concept of a multi-billionaire CEO producing an heir with a random young woman is what many of us have already seen in most of the famous literacy pieces ever written.
We get that quite a lot, and it’s kinda getting redundant, is it not? Don’t give me that look, you know what I’m saying, and you understand that exact feeling. Though we secretly wish for something new, writers are just way too stubborn and adamant to leave that prompt alone and give us something different.
Thankfully, The CEO’s Pregnant Wife found a way out to separate itself from that. The disease that the male protagonist has is the top gear that made the story goes on until the end. Add that to their cute and full-of-tension romance and it will pave the way toward your heart.
But first, don’t do the mistake of skyrocketing your expectations as it’s a simple story with very fast-paced writing.
You might find it invigorating but The CEO’s Pregnant Wife isn’t that book we’re all hoping for that will leave a significant mark, as the characters have been given only a short amount of time of exposure, and the plot wasn’t exercised well.

Part 1: Plot Overview of The CEO’s Pregnant Wife
So what is it all really about?
To fully understand its plot, let’s take a hard look at the Jun family, the source of the rare blood curse that magically intertwines the fate of our main characters—Fang Yi Ran and Jun Si Que.
Every once in a generation, one member of the family would be gifted with an extraordinary power to be good at everything. That privilege is limitless. Anyone who’d be granted that is expected to be either a genius or someone with an exceptional physical appearance. But this gift comes with a dire curse. A feeling of infinite emptiness will always envelop them. Incurable, incessant, and agonizing. The way to escape from its grasp is to find the Ming Yi, or in the least confusing term, a mate.
The blood that runs through them and the heart that makes them alive are owned by their Ming Yi. If unfound, the carrier would suffer in endless pain. In every full moon of a lifetime loop.
Jun Si Que is the current host of that curse. Its blessing had made it easy for him to reach the title of the top billionaire in the country.
Behind his immaculate reputation, expanded power, and immeasurable money, his life is miserable beyond compare. He suffers from a consistent wallop of torture. Until he hasn’t found his mate, he’d live like that for the rest of his life.
His Ming Yi is Fang Yi Ran, a striving student who lives a normal life within the circle of a commoner. She’s young, bubbly, and full of premature energy.
Her normal life completely halted when her best friend recommended that she to go a bar and entered the wrong room, and stumble upon someone on the bed, struggling to breathe normally. That man is Jun Si Que, the current carrier of the blood disease that has been affecting his family’s life for years. The night he met Fang Yi Ran, he was suffering from the most difficult stage of the disease under the full moon.
It is said that every time the moon will show its whole face, the true nature of the disease will also reveal its true form. Jun Si Que is on the verge of tearing his face up because of how painful the curse is when Fang Yi Ran walked up to him, like a sacrificial lamb offering herself willingly.
Being thirsty for the touch of his mate, Jun Si Que immediately senses what she came for, and what she was. The sense of finally finding his mate conquered his senses, and Fang Yi Ran, being unable to resist Jun Si Que’s beauty, gave in to the temptation.
Jun Si Que didn’t fail to her to give a memorable experience. He fulfilled that within one night of making love with her passionately.
Jun Si Que should have been cured, since he already found his mate, and consummated the bond they freely established. But when he saw the bed is empty the morning after, he was back to zero.
Six years later, Jun Si Que’s life is still under the realm of his terrible condition. Many women came through his life, and yet none of them ever gave him the phenomenal sensation he felt on that fateful night.
He searched for Fang Yi Ran for years but every attempt was in vain. He knew nothing but her face and the way her body feels. Her name and everything about her is a mystery he’s been trying to solve but to no avail.
When he came back to Shanghai, he figured he wouldn’t have to search any more because fate willed Fang Yi Ran to drift toward him.
They met again at such a destined time. The start of their reunion didn’t start well as Jun Si Que wants her to be his wife but Fang Yi Ran refuses. Their chase concluded when Jun Si Que got close to his son and Fang Yi Ran began to love him deeply.
The ending was a happy one. Jun Si Que and Fang Yi Ran have decided to get married, and finally end their agony. In the closing line of the last chapter, Fang Yi Ran’s true identity was revealed in a way that no one sees it coming.

Part 2: Introductory Chapters of The CEO’s Pregnant Wife
Chapter 1
For an introduction, this chapter is quite compelling. Both of the character’s differences The chapter starts with Fang Yi Ran’s usual day, hanging out with her best friend and contemplating the possible man she can date.
When her best friend suggested a bar, Fang Yi Ran didn’t think of any hesitation to give that a shot. As a woman layered with thick optimism, she’s always down for something adventurous and risky. And that trip to the bar would definitely sate her craving for a feat.
Cut to her monologue, and we finally get to see Jun Si Que’s point of view. He’s on his way to rest in his favorite bar. As he wail in pain, the door suddenly opened, and Fang Yi Ran came strolling in. The will of the curse was fast to control him, and at that very moment, he claimed Fang Yi Ran’s innocence like a beast owning its prey.
Chapter 2
Here, the permanent effects of their bond are shown. Jun Si Que is away from Shanghai, living his life as a lonely bachelor, sleeping with women here and there but nothing is satisfying him. Meanwhile, Fang Yi Ran is on a current mission to provide a good life for her son. She wished for more opportunities. But certainly not with Jun Si Que involved!
Part 3: Thoughts On The CEO’s Pregnant Wife
The premise and plot were overall promising. A mating bond in a modernized world? What a lethal combination! The concept of the blood disease is somewhat refreshing, the twist that made me constantly on edge of my seat as I read through it.
When was the Last time we ever see the tough and rich billionaire show any weaknesses? It’s hard to remember because that never happens normally. If some book shows such, it’s a rare treasure that deserved so much care.
If only The CEO’s Pregnant Wifedidn’t exceed fifty chapters, it would have made it to my favorite list of books. I felt like the story wasn’t well expanded because it’s short, and the characters weren’t developed well. It has so much potential. Considering the rare concept, it would have reached so much more.
Still, I find it extremely hopeful to escape my reading slump. I highly recommend it, but certainly not for everyone who hasn’t got any patience for difficult
