Sarah
Her heart is full of love but her common sense will never lose out to it. She is a woman of many sides. One can never know who Sarah truly is if she doesn’t tell. This woman is not without major strengths. The most foolish thing one can do is underestimate a woman of her caliber. Sarah stands on her principles, but there’s a limit to playing nice. Love or devotion won’t make her lose her senses.
In The Billionaire CEO’s Runaway Wife, Sarah fights a losing battle with the society which she emerged into because of her marriage to Lucas Stanton. There was no denying that they all cared nothing for the woman whose husband ignored her for a secretary. Sarah became a joke to these people because of Lucas and then he calls another woman’s name the first time they sleep together?
Any woman worth her value and principle would not stand for that sort of crap. Sarah left the scene completely. Even a surprise pregnancy was not enough of a reason to welcome that bastard back into her life. She was just done.
I love seeing characters like Sarah, who know their value and make sure nobody diminishes it.
Lucas
He’s a complete nincompoop.
Lidia
She’s Lucas’s sister. This wench is problematic all around. A peacock who doesn’t have much substance. Herself and Madeline are just two troublesome idiots, pests that need to be gotten rid of quickly.
Patricia
A monster-in-law, plain and simple. She is Lucas’s mother and a big tormentor or Sarah. This is what I mean, the whole family is wrong. Maybe only the grandmother is the sane one.

Part 2: Plot Summary of The Billionaire CEO’s Runaway Wife
The Billionaire CEO’s Runaway Wife follows Sarah who gets married to one of the most eligible bachelors in the city. The marriage between the two people did not happen following the conventional dating route, but rather, it came about as a result of the business transaction between their parent figures.
Marriage was never meant to be easy but disliking your partner from the onset is a sure way to make the marriage hell. Sarah obviously knew her husband disliked her. The man avoided all contact with her and the only time he entertained her presence was when he needed to give off a familial energy. Whether it was to win the hearts of the public or to protect his interests, Lucas Stanton only wanted Sarah as a trophy wife.
Sarah finally had enough when she heard the bastard whisper another woman’s name while entangling with herself for the first time since they’d been married. The excuse of intoxication aside, clearly, he’d been having an affair with another woman and thought that Sarah was that woman. That was the height of disregard. Sarah let the drunkard sleep, and, in the middle of the night, she packed up the small number of personal properties she had and then left.
The man woke up to find her gone and a few weeks later, there were divorce papers delivered to his office. Lucas Stanton still didn’t believe what was before his eyes, merely thinking that she would be back. However, a while later, he got the final papers. It was done; he was no longer linked to Sarah.
No matter how far he searched, Lucas couldn’t find Sarah. It was like she was gone off the face of the earth.
But then she reappeared.

How well do you know your spouse? Or shall we say partner? You can never completely know another person, I realize. Honestly speaking, there are many layers to the human mind and with every day that goes by, every little thing that we learn in our daily activities, further enhances some hidden desire that we have not yet made a part of us.
When does that desire manifest? Who can say? But one thing is for sure; you can learn a great deal about a person by spending time with them. Whether consciously or not, they are bound to reveal something to you. That reveal action is basically a calculation of your worth. If they don’t tell you anything, then you don’t mean anything to them.
In The Billionaire CEO’s Runaway Wife, we have a woman who is very much ready to give all of herself to her husband, however, he’s blinded by the prejudice in his heart of her origins. The marriage only served to drain the life out of her.
This is one of those reasons they say not to judge someone completely by their background.
Although, half the time you do such a thing, you’d be right, but what If you weren’t and you somehow ruin a good thing? That would really feel awful. Well, right here is a prime example.
The author is relentless in the creation of this perfect setting. The drama of arranged marriages feels even more thrilling against the backdrop of business. The high society and their penchant for scandals is another amazing thing.
The central theme of The Billionaire CEO’s Runaway Wife basically revolves around neglect and dare I say, the idiocy of a good amount of the male species.

Chapter Five
Alan entered the Villa and Ulima greeted him as she puttered away in the kitchen. Alan had brought her back after tracking her down. He had been surprised when he learned that Sarah had let the housekeeper go.
It was now two weeks since he embarked on a fruitless search for Sarah or whatever trace she could have left behind. He’d felt that the villa was a good place to start, but despite the fact that she’d lived in the residence, there was little evidence to show for it. Everything was basically untouched.
He’d discovered her wedding ring on the bedside table in the bedroom, and the closet was full of clothes, but on closer inspection, he found that less than half her side was in actual use. The woman had no jewelry, not even a simple gold chain. Nowhere in the house were there photographs or keepsakes. In the end, he only had a handful of clues.
The first clue was fund deep in her closet, a small dresser. The clothing he found wasn’t designer, but they were well-worn. Alan discovered Sarah’s love of horses and warm colors. The second clue was found in the kitchen, a kettle and an extensive collection of teas in the cupboard. The vast amount indicated that it wasn’t just a casual interest. Plus, where had she gotten the money?
Alan’s first thought was inheritance, but after thinking about her family’s situation, he ruled that out.
Who is She?
So many questions floated through Alan’s mind. But the one that kept resounding in his mind after everything he’d observed was ‘what happened the night before she left?’
Alan told Lucas everything he observed, and the latter could only be swallowed up in the enigma that was his ex-wife. Why didn’t she take his money? If she didn’t love him, why did she stay for three years? If she did love him, why did she leave?
Lucas attended the Easter Luncheon which was considered a major social event. He garnered curious looks as he’d come alone.
Soon, Avalynn Prescott was saying hello to him and somehow everything focused on Sarah. Lucas became overanxious to understand his ex-wife and Ava was caught up in it. Silas appeared and gave Lucas the tongue-lashing he deserved.
Lucas learned about the rumors and what he’d done to Sarah. He’d had no idea.
