Strongest Mage with the Lust System is a story that starts off with a criminal case of betrayal between the best of friends. Max, the main character, was told to come to the campfire the following day by his best friend Jacob. Jacob winked, hinting that Alison, Max’s crush’ was also going to be tagging along and that it was his chance.
Max then wondered why Jacob even bothered being best friends with him, considering he was quite handsome and on the richer side, while Max was middle class. His chances of being with Alison were also minimal, considering she was the most beautiful girl in their college and Max was simply above average.
Nonetheless, Jacob helped him out. Max, frustrated at the fact that he was still a virgin, dedicated his innocence to be given only to the woman he crushed on. Jacob offered Max to tag along while he was going to have ‘fun’ and drinks with his girlfriend Kate, though Max refused to preserve his dignity and went home.
Max packed up some ‘protection’ for the following day and was the earliest to arrive at the camping spot. After waiting an hour, his friends eventually came and the situation gradually ended up with all the friends having drinks at night. Though, it was strange that Jacob came with Alison despite their living far away from each other. While everyone was drunk, Alison left and went further into the words.
Curious, Max followed only to witness his best friend making out with her, then eventually taking her innocence. Every discrepancy now made sense to Max, and before he could go and punch his friend for betraying him, his life was taken by a bear that approached him and snapped his neck.
With that, Max’s pitiful life came to an end in the worst way possible.

Part 1: Max’s New Life in Strongest Mage with the Lust System
While Max initially thought that he was supposed to be dead, that it was the end, he woke up in a spacious room. He thought that Jacob must have saved him from the tragedy and brought him to some luxurious hospital. His immediate concern was not to go broke but was reassured by his health insurance. However, this wasn’t a hospital, instead, it was some sort of palace.
His bed was absolutely luxurious, one that his middle-class self would never have gotten to experience in a million years. He looked at his skin and freaked out, it was milky white and his body was very weak. He rushed to the washroom, to observe that his body was not the one that he had before.
He was handsome, just incredibly weak physically. Then, he realized that he must have reincarnated into another world. While not particularly unique, the scene did do a good job of catching the reader’s attention.
His maid, Lilly, then rushed into the room, addressing him as the ‘Young Master’ and was shy to see her master coming out of the bathroom, so she lowered her head. She answered all queries that Max had relating to who he was, and apparently, he was the son of a very powerful mage, and his name in the new world was Maxwell Garfield. He sustained an injury on his head in an event to celebrate his eighteenth birthday. A series of events eventually led to Max discovering that Lilly was very fond of him, and thus he kissed her, which activated his Lust System and initiated the spice of the series.
Part 2: The Main Character of Strongest Mage with the Lust System
Max is a character that comes across to the reader as a loser in his past life, one that never got to fulfill his erotic desires or become anything special at that. He died in the most pathetic way, was betrayed, and had no lover.
His past life perfectly adds thrill to the exciting actions that he commits to in his new life. Never could Maxwell have imagined that he would be kissing a girl that was much more beautiful than Alison, yet he did it immediately with Lilly.
His Lust System is not only the source of some very erotic scenes in his sexual conquests, it also acts as the fuel for Max’s growing assertiveness and confidence as he befriends and builds relationships with more and more people in his harem.
Despite the power of his Lust System, Max still has a caring and compassionate personality and is very smart. He isn’t the most well-thought-out and comprehensive character in the history of light novels, though his character is still quite appreciable and adds the most tension to the novel.
Part 3: Main Theme of Strongest Mage With the Lust System
Strongest Mage with the Lust System builds its main theme around the concept of reincarnation and empowerment of a character that was otherwise quite underpowered and a loser. As Max gets reincarnated into his new world, he gains an ability that changes the concept of his life forever and is more on the fantasy side of things.
With his Lust System comes a plethora of erotic scenes, which can be described as the main selling point of the series as Max grows his harem and continues his sexual endeavors with them. They are relatively well done and can be quite a thrill for the reader to read. Each woman in the harem itself is interesting and cute in their own way, which gives emphasis to the sexual scenes.
While unexpected, the title does have the concept of Max being the ‘Strongest Mage’. As Max evolves his stats, he goes through a few action sequences that act as a refreshment to the huge amalgamation of erotic portions within the novel.
Part 4: Conclusive Remarks
Strongest Mage with the Lust System is an entertaining novel, and that description of its suits it the most. Even the author points out that it was work that was going to be unrefined for sure considering it is their first piece of writing, yet it was entertaining, nonetheless.
It isn’t the most beautiful piece of writing on Earth, though you can have a lot of fun reading it as a more casual read, you should definitely give it a shot!
