Drive Me Wild is the first installment of the Bellamy Creek Series by Melanie Harlow, a contemporary romance that combines natural drama, fiery desires, and a refreshing slice of life. The ferocious romance between Blair and Griffin is one thing to admire, but the flow of the story is what really most admiring.
With one unfortunate incident uniting their worlds, it left them with only one way out: either give in to their insatiable desires or permanently forget they even met.
At the very first start, it’s conceivable that Drive Me Wild would serve a remarkable impression, and it didn’t disappoint! It’s traditional, pure, and explicitly heartwarming, it will make you want to read the whole series.

Part 1: Main Storyline of Drive Me Wild

When the socialite girl, Blair Beaufort, was pressured to date an old rich tycoon as a way to boost the connection of her family, she ran away from home with only the goal of pursuing a new life somewhere running around her mind. She wants to start anew, to live with freedom and away from her controlling family.

The thought of owning a bakery attracted her deeply. There are several problems, however. She has no money; she’s inexperienced, and clueless about where to start. As if that wasn’t enough to extinguish her hope, her car broke down in Bellamy Creek, and she found herself at the mercy of the local and smoking hot mechanic-Griffin Dempsey.

She was left with no choice but to ask him to spare her a place to stay. Griffin refused at first but still agreed with a set of uncanny conditions.

The tragedy and pain from his past forced Griffin to set up rules that would prevent him from going over the same fate again. As a result, he came off as rigid, cold, and too uptight. When Blair, the seemingly innocent rich woman, came running for help, he found himself breaking one of his rules-allowing women to sleep in his home.

He couldn’t exactly define why he made an exemption, but he was sure as hell, she’d be out at the earliest time of the morning the next day.

However, with the current state of everything, that seemed to become far fetch. With nowhere else to go, Blair proposed to work for him, and as much as he wished to reject her, the situation just begs him to give in. Eventually, love began stitching the souls of the two strangers silently hoping to be loved.

Blair was intrigued by Griffin’s mysterious past and undaunted character, making it so hard for her to leave him alone without making sure he’d see her the way she wanted. Meanwhile, the intimidating mechanic is beginning to feel sensations that he knew very well but is too afraid to welcome.

He’s scared to be happy, and even though the risk is high, he’s willing to throw everything away to keep his heart healthy and safe from heartbreak. Even if that means, he’d say goodbye without ensuring her the future she wanted.

Sacrifices have been made. Heartbreak tore them apart. But in the end, the power of their love still served them well, causing them to feel happiness like no other.

Part 2: About the Author of Drive Me Wild

Drive Me Wild Author Griffin

Melanie Harlow is the current best-selling author from Amazon. She writes sweet, sexy, and intriguing romance that displays the diversity of love between humans. She’s been writing fiction for such a long time, and all throughout those years, she has produced already fifty-eight books, some of which were series.

She’s the mind behind Cloverleigh Farms Series, and Bellamy Creek Series, both have induced pleasure and entertainment to millions of readers. She continued to spare us her imaginative mind with her newly created series. Aside from that, she’s also a fan of Schitt’s Creek, and if she’s not writing, she’s probably binging them again!

Part 3: Thoughts on Drive Me Wild and Why It Is So Popular

Drive Me Wild by Melanie Harlow is one of the most fantastic light-read romances I’ve ever come across. It’s engrossing and mind-blowing. I lost count of how many times this runs up in my mind while I was out, taking a break from reading.

I had a hard time putting it down because the interaction between Griffin and Blair was too hot and loveable. I liked that Melanie didn’t create Griffin’s character based on the alpha-strong male that’s quite rampant in romance today.

She still made us feel like they’re humans by giving them weaknesses and struggles that we can all quite relate to. The plot wasn’t that intense but it regained strength in the scenes, dialogues, and sweeping tension between the characters.

In an overall aspect, Drive Me Wild is indeed a worthy risk of taking. It’s great in terms of technicalities in creative writing. The ending may appear rushed to some but I think it suited the prior events just enough to make it a complete one. I recommend this book. And possibly every of Melanie Harlow’s crafts, as well.

Part 4: Similar Book on Dreame

Drive Me Wild by Melanie Harlow will surely cause you to change your perspective on everything. But if you, just in case, think of it as unfit to the hype, and you still want to read a good book with the male protagonist as a deep thinker, a modern white knight, Hate to Love You by Jennifer Sucevic, will be the safest option you should take.

The story follows a young woman, suddenly in a relationship with a hot, athletic student of the NHL, when her boyfriend embarrassed her in front of so many people.

Brody then took up the heat and announced to everyone they were together, the man that the female protagonist didn’t expect to be taking her side. Was that an effect of his goodwill? Or are there far deeper reasons that she should watch out for herself?

Hate to Love You is available on Dreame. It has already thousands of followers and reads, so it’s undeniable that it won’t disappoint.
