She was a designer, and was said to have designed most of the houses that adorned Riveroty where she lived. But that part of Cherise was not as loud as the false fact that she was a country bumpkin.

Morris Chivers would stumble on Cherise on his way back to Betrico as well. He was hurrying back home because his grandmother was ill. Ordinarily, the Chivers family patron had no business flying commercially, but he sensed foul play when he heard that the pilot to his private jet had been changed.

Shirley feared that Cherise would come and cause trouble for her as far as being the heiress was concerned. But if there was anyone causing trouble in the Leach family, it was Shirley because she was not a real Leach family daughter.
Shirley was originally from the Lewis family until she joined the Leach family and poised as their heiress. Shirley was particularly worried that Cherise would come and truncate the engagement she was supposed to have with a certain Jeffery.
Do you know that the arrangement to get married to Jeffery was made by Cherise’s mother before she died? But Shirley had owned the heiress of Leach family so much, she wanted to marry a man that was not arranged for her.

Cherise’s caretaker, her maternal grandmother had died, and Cherise was just days away from being twenty years old. With that being the case, Cherise would have to return to the Leach family.
It gets interesting where Cherise’s cousins come to pick her to take her back to Betrico. Her cousins are in awe of her beauty. Little did they know that there is more to be in awe of concerning Cherise.
