Steven is a handsome character. His puppy eyes swayed Diana most of the time; he made her want to keep him forever. His handsomeness was the only good thing about him. Apart from that, he is a mean husband, a cheat, a player, and a murderer.
He killed Diana when he pushed her off that building. He wanted to have Queenie completely to himself. Diana was just a killjoy in his way, so he got rid of her.
When Diana reincarnated into their past lives, he saw a version of her that he couldn’t comprehend.

Reading the Shining Bright After Rebirth novel is an ecstatic experience. Evaluating the novel, I would rate it an 8/10. The novel has a good storyline that follows the life of Diana.
The fact that the readers were given an intro into Diana’s life before rebirth was amazing. With that, understanding her past and acknowledging why she chose vengeance was made easy.
The theme of the story is also something to look out for. It talks about revenge, love, betrayal, second chances, and loyalty.
The character development as the novel unfolds was something else. The weak characters became bold, strong, and fearless as they faced their fears.
If there was something I didn’t like about the novel, then it was the pacing and tension of the novel. Everything was laid out and revealed at the start of the novel.
The tension reduced at that point because there was nothing to expect. There was no sudden secret revealed until further into the novel, which was so unexpected and a bit boring.
