Emily and Owen were born as next door neighbors in a small community at a country side. They started as play mates, playing together in the sands as toddlers. And as they grew up together, they became best of friends, went to the same high school and college.
I have never seen heartbreaks explained the ways the author described it in this one story, very realistic and relatable. Two childhood friends, turned lover, moving through life as one soul and one spirt, Emily and Owen.
Let’s examine the storyline below…

Part 1: Captivating Storyline of Don’t Mess With the Rock Chicks by Everleigh Miles
Emily and Owen were the first of everything to each other, first kiss, first touch and every other male and female intimacy. Their relationship was no secret to anyone, not to their different parents, friends or high school mates. While other of their peers went from one bad relationship to another, they were the perfect couple.
Even when they got admission into the university, they lived together like a couple throughout their years in college. It would seem impossible in the present generation, but Emily and Owen were perfect for each, never having to disagree seriously on any matter. As they both had one mind, one spirit and one soul.
Since they started as children, their lives were tailored into each other’s, what they grew up knowing, they knew together. They never had an interference or a situation where they cheated on each other. They had quite the fairytale which every lady would kill to have.
It wasn’t a surprise as after a few years of acquiring nice paying jobs after college, they both bought houses which were facing each other on the streets of New York. Each of them made a down-payment on each of the house, which meant they had different ownership of the two.
They chose to live in the one belonging to Emily and was renovating the other for after they’d gotten married. They were planning on using the other house as their home for raising their children. It wasn’t important who it was who’d proposed, what was important was that they were getting married.
The planning was on the way, together they’d selected dozens of things they needed for their weeding. The sitting room was packed full with things that needed to be done. Emily had informed her friends and selected bridesmaids. Like every other woman at this stage, she was happy.
Today, her sister had come in the morning to pick her up, so they could go for shopping. She was about to go purchase her wedding dress. Owen saw her to the door, Brenda —her sister, watched him kiss her goodbye and together they met other bridesmaids at the mall and had a good time.
After making the deposite on the dress she’d selected, she returned home tipsy from all the champagne they’d drank in celebration, only to meet a quite distressed Owen. Owen informed her he wasn’t about to marry her, took his belongings and moved out of the house at once.
The heartbreak was unimaginable. It had been twenty five years together as a couple. On the kitchen were they stood, there were marks left by the share force of their love making, what could have happened to make Owen do this to her? Not only was he immediately moving out of the house, he’d packed and moved his belongings during the hours she’d been drinking champagne and making a deposit on a wedding dress.
How does a woman who’d spent her entire life with only with one man recover from such a blow? It’s an understatement to say Emily was devastated. I don’t know how she managed to sleep, only to be woken up by Owen in the middle of the night. He was checking in to say his final goodbyes.
Owen had transformed in the space of a few hours, smelling of cigarettes, drugs and alcohol. Dressed in a shabby street style, his hair scattered over his face, his singlet hanging beneath his jacket. He was still Owen, exuding the sweet aura she’d loved for twenty five years, but his looks were different.
What could have happened to destroy their happiness? Let’s see in the hot chapters below…

don’t mess with the rock chicks chapter 4: two way street
While she’d been devasted, broken apart in the midst of all the things they’d gathered for their wedding, which were deposited in the sitting room… Emily had called her sister and informed her about the breach in the wedding plans. She’s considered calling her mother, but the woman would call Owen’s mother and they would come to the city and the whole thing worse than it was.
The shame of it was unbearable. She was thinking this, when she looked out of the window to see a differently dressed Owen leaving the house and looking happy?
don’t mess with the rock chicks chapter 5: two way street
He was dressed very shabbily, but neat and even though they were clothes she’d either bought, or washed and ironed over the years, they looked different on his body tonight. And after waiting for an hour for his return, she gave into her curiosity, took her keys and went to snoop around the house. He had moved into the one they were renovating for after the wedding.
There wasn’t much to find and when he returned late in the night, he texted and woke her up. He said his reasons for leaving her at such a time was…
