A certain town, apparently known to be quiet, inhabited a scary witch lived among them. It was not stated how the witch ended up living in that town, but she lived there, and she was very deadly, vicious, and ugly to look at. The author of Crown Of Thorns narrated that the inhabitants of the town were nice people, so they allowed her to live among them.

I would love to think that the inhabitants of the town were the authors of their problem. They lived with a witch, for crying out loud, no amount of niceness should make anyone live with a hideous witch, but these inhabitants and the witch in question were an exception.

Eventually, the witch placed a curse on the town, and evil came in. In Crown Of Thorns Book, it was stated that darkness overcame the town, while monsters and trolls invaded the town, causing chaos and causing the death of a lot of people. The curse that the witch placed on the town was indeed very intense.

Part 1: Main Story of Crown Of Thorns

Crown Of Thorns Warrior And Witch

Eventually, the inhabitants of the town rose against the witch. The rate at which they were dying in the town was becoming alarming, so they sought to put an end to it.

Warriors came put to fight the witch, and everyone tried to kill the witch, but guess what? The witch did not die. They burnt the witch, stabbed her, beat her, and did everything possible for the witch to die, but the witch always came back to life soon after she supposedly died.

In Crown Of Thorns Book, it was stated that the inhabitants of the town would not be able to stop the curse and the deaths until the witch died, and that was why they had been trying everything they could to kill the witch all to no avail.

The last resort came from the King himself. He suggested that the witch be locked up in a tower and abandoned until she eventually died. He constructed a tower and started to get ready to put her in there, but when the witch heard about such plans, she laughed at the King and the town’s inhabitants.

The witch told the town that even if they locked her up, the curse will not be lifted and that they will still be met with the same troubles, but that was not enough to change the mind of the king, as he still locked her up.

The chaos in the town continued, but not for long. The author of Crown Of Thorns narrated that the monsters that attacked the town started to disappear gradually, following the locking up of the witch.

While the witch was locked up in the tower, different people, warriors, and ordinary inhabitants of the town continued to come to the tower to try and kill the witch, but of course, they only succeeded in afflicting her with injuries, as the witch would wake up shortly after she died.

It was still impossible to kill the witch. The witch was placed in the tower, and all the windows were blocked with thorns and other dangerous things blocking the tower so that the witch could not come out, and could not see daylight.

The only thing she knew was darkness until she met a certain warrior. In Crown Of Thorns, the witch could tell her future and she could tell that there was someone destined to kill her, so she waited peacefully for the person to show up because at this point, even she was ready to put an end to her suffering.

The young man that visited the witch was holding a sword that the witch was sure he would use to kill her. For some reason, she felt that he was the one that would eventually lead her to death, but because of how desperate she was to die, the young warrior refused to kill her. Instead, he became nice to her

and continued to visit her, while trying to clean her tower up and get her back on her feet. Read Crown Of Thorns Book to find out what happened between the witch and the young warrior.

Prologue/Chapter 1-3

Crown Of Thorns The Witch

These are the chapters of Crown Of Thorns that introduce the plot and start the book. The prologue generally narrates the story about the witch, how she lived in the town, and how the inhabitants of the town feared her yet accommodated her, but all she did to pay back the favor they gave her was to curse their town and release darkness, monsters, and chaos into the town, killing a lot of people.

Chapter 1-3 of Crown Of Thorns Book narrates the first meeting that the witch had with the “‘white-haired” boy. He was a warrior, and like every other person that lived in the town, had come to persecute and punish her, hoping to kill her.

Unlike what was expected of the white-haired boy, he changed his mind about killing the witch and started to be nice to her, even though the witch begged him to kill her and relieve her from living in eternal damnation and pain.
