Burn For You is a marriage of convenience genre with captivating twists. It was a sizzling romance that bloomed between two incredible characters, Jack and Bianca. Took place in the state of Louisiana, New Orleans, J.T. Geissinger offered an extraordinary work of fiction.
Albeit the heart wrecking chapters of the story, I could not deny how the author balanced it with witty touches of humor. Aside from the phenomenal love scenes, I was astounded by the series of recipes presented at the beginning of the book. Maybe one of these days, I would try them out in my own kitchen.
This is not the first time that I read this kind of trope but let me be honest about my reading experience This one is one of the best, not because of the hype but because there was something with the entire composition that made me smile at the end.
Not to mention the Slap, Slap, Kiss Cocktail that intrigued my taste buds. I would love to drink a glass of it on cold Saturday nights. Told in a dual first-person point of view, this got me to understand each other’s deep-seated emotions.

This sex-feet-three tall hot wealthy man came from the empire of Bourbon. Aside from his beautiful sexy voice, Jack had an extremely beguiling scent. It was a delicious whiff of exotic and musk and warm, a smell like no other. Yet in spite of his to-die-for looks and smoking body, he was a bad-tempered man which made the female lead so disgusted with him.
There goes the ever-alluring chef who owned a restaurant in the heart of New Orleans named Bianca Hardwick. A strong independent woman with a good set of manners. Amidst her independence, she was like a hard sweet candy with a surprise soft center. She would do anything just for the people who are so dear to her.
The first meeting was not a good one, Bianca no longer wanted to meet him much more to cook for that rude man. However, things turned out the way she wished. Hard times came and she had to help her mother due to illness. It would require a huge amount of money and she had no clue where she would get it.
Jack was about to host a charity event but his personal chef who was fourth among the staff he hired in six months left in a snit. It was not an ordinary occasion that he had to cater to three hundred people in total. And because Bianca needed more income, she took the opportunity and was hired by the man he ever hated.
Part 2: One Sultry Read Burn For You
Being close to a man like Jack was detrimental to Bianca. But he found her a beautiful, sassy goddamn woman which obviously attracted him so much. He was so into her plus her smart mouth which turn him on more, craving to put her under his sheets. She was the only person who called him Jaq.
The game changed when his father reminded him to get married when his 35th birthday came. And right after the interaction that they had from the event, Jaq only had one idea in mind which was to ask Bianca to be his bride. Knowing that her mother was diagnosed with cancer, she could not afford to lose her. With that, he took the proposal that Jaq made.
She could not say no or else she would not get the money she needed for the medication. It was the most serious and unbelievable decision that she made in her life but for him, it was fun and exciting. Until time passed and the development of their relationship. The previous fling that he used to feel for her grew stronger and even told her that I burn for you.
Just like the words that came to Daphne’s mouth in Bridgerton. Head over heels, their connection went intense.
Scorching hot moments in bed that brought them so close together. Before he was only after the inheritance but now the engagement was so significant for him. Having Bianca in his life would cost him his life. And the same with her, it was more than money. The ending gave me goosebumps and it was passionately epic.

Jackson’s love for Bianca gave me standards. He was literally not giving her the bare minimum. All in all, I could not roll my eyes at the thirty-eight chapters. It was like a bumpy ride of emotions with a pinch of pain in the heart.
Yes, it was a slow burn just like taking yourself in shape. Another way how to burn 100 calories. Or might be how to burn 300 calories. LOL. Kidding aside, this steamy romance novel was a must-read for adults 17 and above.
