One of the best tropes that I could not get enough of was the marriage of convenience. Believe me or not it was like everyone’s cup of tea nowadays. Most stories in the interactive publishing scene that hit a million views were under this contemporary genre.
And Billionaire In Disguise novel was one of the greatest swoony romances I’ve ever read. Thank me later for this recommendation because you’ll surely love this one and that’s a promise!
My thoughts about this book were influenced by how I was moved by the story flow. With 221 chapters, all in all, there was a certain lesson that you could get at the end, and it was something remarkable.
Given the fact that the main character had a dazing revelation, it gave a different vibe to this trope. Based on the title itself, the male lead was a billionaire and at first, he was not aware of his real identity.
This entire story had been tremendous as it showed the different sides of being an insanely rich person and empty-handed at the same time. I always find it riveting when the flaws and disability of a character were shown, not only the good side which made it more of a human. And I believe that the male lead gave impressive justice to the role.
The author also created a compelling plot which was not a usual one. With that, Billionaire in Disguise was a perfect addition to your marriage of convenience compilation.

Part 1: Pleasing Characters and Highpoints of Billionaire in Disguise Novel
Rome was the main protagonist of the Billionaire In Disguise novel. In the first part of the story, he was a struggling man together with Mr.
Miller whom he thought was his real father. However, in the succeeding chapters, it was proven that his biological father was Mr. Ford, a wealthy prominent man who was in search of his beloved son. Little did he know, he was the sole heir of his properties and riches.
But right before meeting his real father, Rome was caught in a hopeless circumstance. Mr. Miller was attacked by the goons led by Mr. Orlando. Those people were brutal and were forcibly asking back the money the old man owed them.
Yet, due to their poor situation, they could not repay their debt. Rome tried to defend Mr. Miller from those hoodlums but it was not enough, they were warned that the next time they would see each other, they would surely die and pay back with their blood.
For Mr. Miller to protect the life of Rome, he went to a mansion and see an old woman named Madam Rosey. There he met the youngest granddaughter of the said woman named Catherine, the female lead. She even called Rome a beggar and despised him for entering their estate. But this beautiful damsel was the least favorite of her grandma, so she aimed to be the greatest heritor among her grandchildren.
Mr. Barlow and Madam Rosey went out to meet the visitors. It was revealed that Catherine was arranged to be married to Rome. The two had to tie the knot within four weeks and the decision was irrevocable.
From that moment, the bride-to-be’s mother exclaimed and contradicted the pact. She could not accept that her daughter would marry a loser who could even financially support himself.

Part 2: A Wonderstruck Vibe With The Billionaire In Disguise
As the Billionaire In Disguise went on, Catherine and her family could not do anything about the said marriage. Rome had to stay with the Barlows as Mr. Miller insisted that it was the least decision he could do to save his life. They were both against their forced wedding, especially Catherine who was thinking that the contract was fake. Yet, Rome was certain that he was not after their family’s money. He was even asked to do the household chores like a slave because all of them considered him a penniless useless man.
Four weeks after and they were about to tie the knot. And because it was a promise that Rome could not break, he had to do it for Mr. Miller. Although he was called a gold digger, he did not back down.
However, he was undeniably attracted to Catherine’s inexplicable beauty right from the start. When they finished exchanging do’s, Mr. Ford came to see Rome and turned unconscious.
When Rome woke up, the doctor found out that he suffered from dissociative amnesia. He was revealed to be the son of a rich man. Although Mr. Ford wanted to share the good news with the public, Rome asked him not to do it yet. He still had a mission to do and to let the people who enslaved him learn their lessons.

Spending coins for the unlock chapters was all worth it. The author only deserves such rewards anyway because it’s not that easy to create fantastic chapters. In all fairness, the ending taught me how to love without judging the outside of a person. My heart was full of realizing that if you keep on humbling yourself, the universe will be the one to raise you without even trying.
