In Alice in Zombieland’s book, Alice swore with everything in her that her father was insane. Zombies? How, and where? Were zombies even real? On the sixteenth birthday of Alice Bells, her little sister Emma asked her to beg their mother to coax their father into allowing them to go to her school’s ballet dance.

Mr. Bells, Alice’s father had experienced a horrible scenery where he lost his parents and came in contact with zombies at the cemetery where they were buried. Yes, zombies. As a result of this, the man became paranoid to the highest form and asked his family never to be seen outside at night.

He even went as far as reinforcing the doors of his house, adding more locks, and patrolling the house at night, looking out for zombies to destroy. He trained Alice to fight, ensuring her that she would need the skill to fight the zombies that he knew were there.

Alice didn’t believe him, but she obliged and underwent the training that her father asked her to do. Alice refused her sister’s request at first, but after a while of coaxing, she agreed and asked her mother to talk to her dad about allowing the family attends Emma’s dance.

It took a long conversation and a nasty word exchange with her mother, Mrs. Bells before the woman eventually agreed to coax Mr. Bells, and soon enough the family was at Emma’s dance.

Part 1: Main Story of Alice In Zombieland

Alice In Zombieland Book

The tragedy and horror started after Emma’s dance. It was late, and the family was on their way back home. On their way to the house, they would have to pass by the cemetery where Mr. Bells said the zombies were. He advised his wife who was driving that they should go through another route and avoid the cemetery, but as usual, they assumed that the man was insane, so they coaxed him into staying the course of the cemetery route.

That was where everything went haywire. Getting close to the cemetery, Mr. Bells lost his mind and caused an accident that killed everyone in his family apart from Alice. Mr. Bells, Mrs. Bells, and Emma all died in the most awkward positions, and Alice finally saw what her father had been talking about the entire time. Zombies came out to eat the dead bodies.

Alice In Zombieland indeed. Just when she was next to be eaten alive by the zombies, the rescue team showed up, and Alice was saved.

Alice had to move in with her grandparents and switched schools where she met new friends. Kat was her first friend when she moved to another town and school entirely, and then she was attracted to the “‘bad boy” of her new school called Cole Holland.

This attraction between Alice and Cole was more than a romantic attraction. They shared a connection deeper than an ordinary one, and one would only find out about this after reading Alice In Zombieland Book. To think that Alice initially thought that her father was insane.

It took a lot for her not to despise him, only for her to find herself in the same space as him. Alice was also seeing zombies both in her head and in reality. Read Alice In Zombieland to find out how Alice defeated these zombies that bothered her mind, body, and spirit, and how she found out a lot of secrets and allies to defeat the zombies as well.

Part 2: Main Characters of Alice In Zombieland

Alice Bells

Alice In Zombieland Alice Bells

The female lead of the book, Alice Bells showed guts and tenacity in Alice In Zombieland Book. After losing her family to an accident and eventually to the very zombies that she accused her father of being wrong of and crazy about, she experienced the same fate as her father.

Fortunately, she was prepared. Her father, Mr. Bells, had spent a lot of time training Alice for when the day would come that she would have to fight off the zombies that he was sure existed.

Eventually, this day came, but Alice would rather that it didn’t come. Because of her sister’s incessant request to attend her school’s ballet, Alice did everything in order to make her family attend the dance, and as a result, they had an accident and were eaten up by zombies immediately, apart from Alice.

She met with these zombies in real life after she struggled with them in her mind, and spent her life slaying and destroying them. She was not going to end up like her father. It would interest you to know that Alice changed her name to Ali after she lost her family. But that was not enough to stop the zombies from attacking her.

Cole Holland

Alice In Zombieland Cole Holland

In Alice In Zombieland Book, Cole Holland was the bad boy of Asher high, the school that Alice Bells switched to after she lost her family in an accident and to the zombies. He shared a similarity with Alice Bells, as he also saw zombies, and was a zombie slayer.

In Asher high, everyone was afraid of Cole Holland for whatever reason, likely because of the dark secrets he had, and how his aura exhumed fright and darkness.

Part 3: Hot Chapters from Alice In Zombieland

Chapter 2

Alice In Zombieland

In the second chapter of Alice In Zombieland Book, Alice lost her family. This was the beginning of the tragedy. This was the beginning of the mayhem, or tragedy, depending on how Alice took it. She witnessed her family die in the car crash, she witnessed zombies eat up her family one by one.

How tragic! What would you do if you were in Alice’s shoes at this point? Never forget that she was next to be eaten up, if not for the fact that help came at the time when it was her turn to be eaten by zombies. Eaten alive! Would you lie on the bonnet of the car and watch zombies eat you?

I would not allow those zombies to eat me if I were Alice, the zombies were lucky not to have gotten a hold of her! As slow as zombies are? Only fear would have made those worthless zombies eat me. I would smack them! All of them. Little wonder she fought all of them at the end of the day and won as well.

Part 4: Evaluate Alice In Zombieland

Alice In Zombieland Novel

The author of this book did justice to it. A hundred percent swell and precise, the book delves into the imagination of the readers.

One would always suspect that each person Alice met after her family died, was a zombie. Suspense and intrigue were evident in the book, and it is one of those books that cannot be put down. Alice in Zombieland is a must-read.
