Part 1: Main Story of Phoenix Fight
Bai Languo lies under the half-covered windows, peeking at her brother Mei Junzhi taking a bath. Two years have passed since she traveled to this place and time and assumed this identity. She is the only girl learning martial arts among many men, but it is a true joy watching them bathe after training.
Mei Junzhi is the youngest brother to learn martial arts, but even though he is only seventeen, he is one of the most skilled trainees. He is even better than Bai Languo. She is caught staring at the boy by Xiaomei, but the two of them laugh together, getting the attention of the master, who scolds Bai Languo for peeping at her brother.
The girl finds out that she is sent out of the mountain, and gets in touch with the outside world. She is excited, thrilled even to finally break the rivers and the lakes. In her mind, going outside the mountains means that she can fight for justice, rob the rich, help the poor, and read at night. She has everything planned out.
The old man Bai Yan bursts her bubble, by telling her that the master has other plans for the disciples, but Bai Languo is also happy if she were to be a killer. Seeing that her mind wandered in all the wrong directions, Bai Yan finally confesses to the girl she will go to Prince’s Mansion and protect the Prince’s lord and Princess Hudie. The butler called Bai Languo and asked for her letter of introduction. She held up a piece of paper and rushed forward. Unfortunately, she tripped and fell to the ground, prompting everyone to burst into laughter. No one helped her get up, so she had to struggle to rise on her own.
After one more step, Bai Languo fell to the ground again. This time, a handsome boy wearing boots came and stood in front of her. He didn’t help her get up though and the girl glanced at him accusingly.
The gorgeous boy had an arrogant posture and wore bright clothes as if he were the prince. As she stood up, she couldn’t help asking the boy if he was married. Suddenly, someone shouted at the girl, rebuking her for daring to question the prince.
