Part 1: Main Story of Mighty Soldier King
Peter Wang’s life takes a turn for the worst as he loses his job and his girlfriend dumps him. Dejected and heartbroken, he sees a woman being robbed by a thief, who storms off on his motorcycle.
As no one wanted to help the damsel in distress, Peter takes action and flings himself into the raging motorcycle, in an attempt to stop the robber. He beats the man to a pulp and retrieves the Louis Vuitton bag for the lady, who invites him for lunch.
Elaine Dai, the beautiful woman who was robbed, urges Peter to apply for a position as a bodyguard at her company. The man is bewildered by her beauty and accepts the offer.
Later, the same day, our hero goes to a bar where a woman unleashes her anger toward men on Peter. He eventually finds himself in the position of saving the woman, named Bella Song, from a guy who was pretending to be her brother. Even though he rescues the lady, he wants nothing to do with her in the future.
To his surprise, he will be hired to protect Bella. As his new boss, the woman will put him through hell and fire to keep his job. There will be many over-the-edge situations ahead but our hero will overcome all obstacles!

Staying at the bar and enjoying his drink, Peter gets annoyed by the woman crying next to him. He urges her to go someplace else, as people might think that he did something to her.
The girl gets frustrated and yells at him, calling all men bastards. Eventually, she starts tearing at his clothes, beating his chest. Thinking that the lady was in distress because of Peter, a huge tattooed man comes and tries to rescue her, but the girl smashes a bottle against his head.
This causes the tattooed man to go after the lady, so Peter is put in the position of saving the beautiful woman. He fights the big man and grabs the lady’s hand to drag her outside the bar. She doesn’t want to go through, as she wants to have another drink.
Peter gets a headache from the girl’s stubbornness, but the woman has a great time and introduces herself as Bella Song. She admits she is having the time of her life and Peter stops a cab, shoves her in, and admits to her that he never wants to see her ever again.

Jack was no match for Bob. Peter intervened and slapped Bob’s hand from Jack’s. The man promises to make Peter feel sorry for assaulting him. The head of security was beaten by the new guy!
Bob welcomes the police and urges them to arrest Peter. As the police ask the man to get into the vehicle and accompany them to the station, Peter takes out his phone and shows them a video of the fight. It was clear as daylight that Bob was the culprit in this situation.
The police soon left and the head of security fired Peter without reason. Before our hero has the chance to beat him again, a ravishing woman appears and urges everyone to go back to work.
Everyone seemed to be afraid of the woman and Peter was puzzled. He knew the woman. It was Bella Song, the girl he rescued at the bar the other night. She scolded Bob for firing people and pointed her finger at Peter ordering him to go into her office right away. He couldn’t say no, she was the CEO of the company!

Mighty Soldier King novel is a highly popular adventure book that didn’t disappoint its fans. After finishing the book, the author made a sequel, Mighty Soldier King 2, which is just as engaging and entertaining.
As further reading, I recommend Ultra Warrior, by Liang Bu Fan. The story revolves around Xiao Bing, a top mercenary soldier who goes back to a normal life after his best friend perishes in battle.
He promises Su Peiya to look after her little sister and all her family. Xiao Bing decides to find the spy of Long Men and avenge Su Peiya’s death.
