Are the sinners worth forgiving? Of course they are, especially when the accused one is actually innocent. Obsessive CEO’s Sinful Wife novel tells Serenity’s story, an innocent convict who had to endure punishment for something she didn’t do.
In a society where the upper class can still bend the law at its will, Serenity must endure the consequences of not having any powerful man backing her up, thus her enemies can easily falsify documents and incriminate her for a crime she didn’t commit.

Part 1: Unfolding Serenity’s Story: Obsessive CEO’s Sinful Wife
Serenity laid on the ground covered in blood. Her entire body hurt but no one helped her. Jenny was standing over her, trying to inflict more pain into her, while telling her that she would never be a lawyer again, as now she was only a murderer for killing Aria.
Looking behind Jenny, Serenity saw Zeke, her boyfriend and the man who doted on her more than anything in the world. He used to love her so much that he would be bothered for a whole day when even a needle touched his precious girlfriend.
Now, he also regarded Serenity as a murderer. As the girl tried to reach for him, pleading for help, Jenny stomped on the girl’s hand, urging the man to do the same. He seemed reluctant at first but, not wanting to show any signs of weakness, he stomped on her other hand.
A few years later, Serenity finally got out of prison. Aria had been a famous star and many people loved her, especially her fiancée, the billionaire Jackson Valor. Thus, her time in prison was ruthless. People came from her from all over the place, leaving traces of their brutality across her skin.
Once she was out, Serenity knew she needed to make a new life for herself, start over. She got a job as a street sweeper and rented a small apartment. It wasn’t much but it was peaceful. One night, a car suddenly stopped beside her, as the passengers recognized the girl as Zeke’s former girlfriend.
One of the guys always had a crush on her and believed that now was the time to fulfill his desire. He got out, pinned the girl to the wall and begun undressing her. Serenity fought hard but she was no match to the man.
Before he took things too far, a strange man appeared out of nowhere and pulled the man from her. he started hitting the abuser on and on, as if he was thirsty for revenge himself. Calmly, Serenity touched the man’s shoulder prompting him to stop the beating.
From afar, a driver in a luxurious car was watching the scene. The mysterious hero was none other than Jackson Valor and he was waiting for him to return from his night stroll.
Once he was done, Jackson stood there in the cold, unmoving. Serenity watched him stand there and couldn’t just leave. She invited the man to come and warm up at her place. She actually believed that he was a homeless man.
As a man who liked games, Jackson agreed and followed Serenity. Over the next few days, the girl took care of Jack, as he introduced himself. She bought him clothes, warmed his hands, cooked for him and even gave him money for a sandwich in the morning.
Serenity wanted to treat Jack as her brother, promising to look after him as if he were her own family. As a man who never had someone look for him the way this girl did, Jackson became drawn to her despite learning that she was the one who killed his fiancée all those years back.
Slowly, he started doubting the police report back then, who revealed that she was a drunk driver. Serenity didn’t seem to be like that at all. He kept by her side, protecting her without revealing his true identity.
What Will Serenity do when she learns that Jack deceived her all this time and that he is actually the man behind her arrest and bullying in jail?
Part 2: The Innocent Convict And The Rich Homeless In Obsessive CEO’s Sinful Wife
Jackson is quite an intriguing character. For a man who seemingly lost his fiancée due to Serenity’s reckless driving, one would expect him to be ruthless with her. Yet, he never once showed her that he blamed her for Aria’s death.
This made me wonder whether he actually knew the truth about what happened the day of the accident or not.
What started off as a game for him turned into something serious, taking him by surprise. Little did he know that his little play would backfire one day. After spending time with Serenity and witnessing her purity and sincereness, Jackson couldn’t stay away from her anymore, nor could he tell her the truth about his identity.
As ruthless as he seemed, Jackson never once lifted a finger to hurt Serenity while she was in jail. But, although he didn’t hurt her, he didn’t do anything to help her either. The man simply ignored all the rumors who stated that he ordered people to harm Serenity.
The truth was that Jackson never cared about Aria. Yes, she was supposed to be his wife, yet he merely accepted the marriage because it was a step he needed to make at some point in life. Aria was beautiful and her family was from the high society, so he said yes to a deal with her relatives.
Serenity was a victim in all the turmoil surrounding Aria. She wasn’t at fault for the accident, nor did she drink, yet the police report showed otherwise. Having no one to back her up, she lost everything and everyone that day. She lost her ability to practice law, she lost her family and the love of her life.
Although Serenity was reluctant to trust someone else ever again, she had faith in Jack, her chosen homeless brother. Even when she started falling for him, she reigned in her feelings to keep their friendship and trust intact.
When she finally realizes that Jack is in fact Jackson, Serenity can’t help feeling betrayed and she can’t seem to keep looking at her friend the same way as she did before. But life keeps bringing the two of them together and they will eventually have to solve their issues.
