Part 1: Plot Summary of My One in a Million Wife
The story follows Lucas and Ashlyn into their peculiar marriage that seems to overflow with harmony but is still doomed to be short-lived. Lucas is faced to one side and this woman clung to him. But this was a strange situation because she was set to move out of the house the next day as a prelude to the divorce that would come subsequently, however, she was refusing the villa that Lucas offered to give to her. No, she recalled their agreement that she would get nothing out of the divorce. She wanted it this way so it would be clear that she had nothing to do with the Nolan family anymore.
Her Nonchalance
Lucas has never seen such a thing before. He had women wanting to capture him and never let him go, yet this one seemed only eager to put him away already. He could hear the lack of sentiment for their divorce that came with her the tone of her voice. Lucas became the one who was trying to hold on to her.
The next day, they woke up and went separately to the funeral of Charles Nolan, the recently deceased head of the Nolan family. It is worthy of mention that nobody knew what Ashlyn looked like. She was the woman in the rumors. They knew about her but did not know her. She arrived at the funeral and threw herself before the casket of the man who had cared for her immensely.

She brings a thrilling experience into a mundane story that could easily have resembled many others. Ashlyn gives the readers a look into the complicated life of deception and power. Her abilities make one truly question existence. She is a world within a world that cares nothing for the chaos and destruction that she leaves in her wake. Simply speaking, this woman is perfect.
No Time for Games
Her life has by no means been easy, however, she picks up her pen or gun, whatever she is using these days, and uses that weapon to forge a path of her own. She is looked down on by her husband’s family, this does not include Charles, and she is insulted.
Nevertheless, Ashlyn makes no move to retaliate against any of these people. She always knew the role she had been chosen to play. Nothing could make her breach that role. Her life was a constant episode of thrill and possible death. But despite that, she forges ahead with an unbending spirit
Ashlynn is a charismatic young woman that is hard to predict. She lives a life that is not completely steady or stable. Truly, how can we call multiple identities stable? On the one hand, she is the temperamental boss that terrified her subordinates, while on the other hand was a perfect wife that catered to her husband’s needs with a smile on her face. Such a contrast, but still the person. Ashlyn escapes out of the house, but there is a lot more coming for her which she could only try to avoid.
Part 3: Superb Chapter from My One in a Million Wife
Chapter Five
Ashlynn had moved out of the villa she lived in with Lucas, signed the divorce papers, and now returned to her own villa. She was just about to take a shower when her phone rang. Lucas was calling. Ashlyn answered and listened as Lucas’s voice, filled with displeasure, coldly asked where she had gone. Ashlyn froze and pointed out the situation of divorce. Lucas however stated that he had yet to sign the papers.
On his end, Lucas remembered what his assistant had told him and couldn’t believe the nonchalance of this woman. He had come back after work only to meet the house empty. She was just gone.
Ashlyn tried to rein in her impatience as she reasoned with the man; she already signed the divorce agreement, and he was the one who filed it. She didn’t want to flip out directly in case it made Lucas change his mind.
Lucas responded, telling her to come back first, like a good girl. Ashlyn agreed and asked for thirty minutes.
She went downstairs with an aura of calamity, causing the men to break out in cold sweats. She told them to send her to Whitland Villa and Jared whom she had rebuked a moment ago, for thinking foolishly that she would go back, followed her out with apparent glee. Ashlyn took her anger out on him. Then she left in a huff, entering the Land Rover and driving like a psycho back to Whitland Villa. The two men in the backseat did not appreciate the speed.
