The orphanage becomes the central place that tells stories about Chloe West’s encounters with Brian Lincoln, a handsome and successful businessman. Chloe’s parents are still alive and healthy; she happens to be present in the orphanage because she enjoys playing with the kids there.
The 23-year-old Chloe in My Blind Husband novel looks like a lively beauty on the outside. Yet, only a few people know about her traumatic experiences with men. She has stopped opening her heart to men since Joseph, her ex-boyfriend, cheated on her. Not stopping there, she even shuts herself down to the world, skips meals from her parents, and becomes resistant to her parents’ wishes and statements.
Chloe’s resistance to her parents intensifies when her parents announce her marriage to Brian Lincoln. All her parents know about this Lincoln Group billionaire is no more than Brian’s good looks and his recent blindness. Brian’s blindness in My Blind Husband is not from birth; he intentionally makes himself that way to test the instinct that tells him Chloe is the one for him.
My Blind Husband Brian behaves that way because he has had enough of immature girls who are only after his money. Brian met Chloe when he landed at the orphanage; since then, he feels Chloe is different from any other girls who chase him. There’s something in Chloe’s appearance and her giggling ways that pique Brian’s interest and trigger him to get to know Chloe further.
In My Blind Husband novel, Brian has a best friend, and his name is Aaron. Aaron is the one suggesting Brian appear blind to test Chloe and his instincts. In addition, Aaron also supports Brian in pursuing Chloe further.
Chloe might resist her parents’ wishes to marry Brian at first due to her limited knowledge about this guy. However, further chapters of My Blind Husband indicate she finally agrees with her parents’ decision. After all, she needs to move on from her miserable romantic life.

Part 2: Meet The Main Characters Of My Blind Husband Novel
Chloe West
The 23-year-old Chloe West of My Blind Husband novel used to be a lively and free-spirited beauty before her ex-boyfriend cheated on her. Since then, she never wishes to open her heart to other men. She even becomes mute to her parents for a while, and she shuts herself down from the world as she refuses to eat her meals for a couple of days.
Agreeing on an arranged marriage with a random stranger is supposed to be a thing Chloe avoids like a plague. However, her father’s friendship with Brian’s father and Brian’s good looks and reputation prevent her from rejecting the marriage proposal. She eventually figures out more about Brian’s identity as she marries him in My Blind Husband novel.
Brian Lincoln
Brian Lincoln, the young CEO of the Lincoln Group in My Blind Husband novel, doesn’t become blind all of a sudden. He intentionally stages the scenes that way. Aaron, his best friend, helps him set the stage while supporting his goals of testing Chloe West’s heart, a woman whom his instinct tells him that she is the one for him.
Such an act tells a lot about Brian’s characteristics. Brian has stopped believing in the idea of one true love since he knew thousands of girls chasing him are only after his money. No wonder, he wants to test the water before he plunges himself deeper into the body of water, and in this case, Chloe fits the analogy of “water” in Brian’s mind.
Part 3: An Analysis Of My Blind Husband Novel
Trusting a person after a betrayal is not an easy matter for almost all people. Sometimes, the traumas are so massive that they can impact a person’s psychological conditions, and Chloe’s case in My Blind Husband novel is no exception. Yet, her readiness to play with kids doesn’t stop amazing me.
Brian also faces the same thing as Chloe. I’m unsure if Brian dated those girls whom he refers to as “only after his money”. I can only guess when I read My Blind Husband novel because the introductory parts that tell stories about Brian’s previous romantic lives are not that complete. It’s likely that Brian only dated some of them briefly, and nothing serious about the relationships.
Either way, Brian is one of the most wonderfully written characters in My Blind Husband. This is my first time witnessing a CEO who is far from being rude, heartless, and image-conscious. Brian is a friendly, kind-hearted, and sensitive soul. From his dialogues in My Blind Husband novel, I can see the possibility of him being the introverted guy compared to Aaron’s extroversion.
I love how Brian tests Chloe by faking his blindness. He involves the Lincoln Group’s media crews to make him appear blind and lead the public into believing what the media conveys. Yet, I would like to see Brian’s reasons for choosing blindness as the area where he wants to fake.
Is it because blindness is the closest thing to Brian’s physical weaknesses? What about other things that My Blind Husband Brian can fake? Either way, I believe the stories of My Blind Husband would feel more interesting when there aren’t many loopholes in the scenes.
Part 4: An Alternative To My Blind Husband
In My Blind Husband, Brian is convinced that “all women are the same”. One of the take-home messages I get when I read this novel is, “Never readily throw away your trust to just about any strangers, no matter how vulnerable-looking they are, for we might never know how deep and dark secrets they hold,”
Many authors tend to portray female MCs in romance novels as vulnerable beings who willfully submit to their husbands and even dwell in their one-sided feelings toward their significant others. Such a thing makes readers forget that women like Brian’s fangirls can be gold diggers in disguise.
Talk about a decent alternative, I come across THE BLIND BILLIONAIRE. This novel provides clearer plots in all of the chapters. You will love it!
Summary:
