CEO’s Beloved Wife a try. Mr. CEO’s Beloved Wife revolves around the ruined reputation of Mu Qinghuan, who was set up for adultery by his fiancee.
Later on, she got pregnant due to that incident. Another interesting thing about Mr. CEO’s Beloved Wife is that a kid is involved in the plot, so I assumed that character would add a thrill to the story. Okay, so let’s see if Mr. CEO’s Beloved Wife is really worth a try.

Part 1: Plot Summary of Mr. CEO’s Beloved Wife
In Mr. CEO’s Beloved Wife, Mu Qinghuan just got her marriage certificate. She was about to be married to his fiancee, Xiang Yibei. Their relationship was smooth. They had been dating for two years.
But all of the sudden, she mysteriously woke up in a hotel room, and just when she was still processing what could possibly happen to her last night, the hotel door opened with many reporters on it, together with her boyfriend accusing her of adultery on the day of their wedding.
She wanted to disappear from the humiliation that day. Days after Mu Qinghuan found out that her boyfriend has been cheating on her for a long time with her sister. Later on, she found out that she was pregnant.
Five years after when she returned to her hometown for vengeance against her ex-boyfriend and sister, a rich CEO came to her home, claiming that her son was his, and wanted sole custody.
Part 2: Main Protagonists of Mr. CEO’s Beloved Wife
Mu Qinghuan
She is Mr. CEO’s Beloved Wife. Mu Qinghuan’s life in Mr. CEO’s Beloved Wife was the typical Cinderella, who’s always the victim, who always got tricked and trampled by evil villains. Being framed up for adultery was perhaps the most teeth-gritting scene to read, plus being cheated by her fiancee which involves her sister, I think those plot scenes were highly dramatic.
But that fuels her character, so I was rooting to see a stronger Mu Qinghuan in the latter plot of Mr. CEO’s Beloved Wife. Honestly, I think Qinghuan’s character was just average. There are times that she appeared bland to me yet I think the female lead of her character was typical for a troupe like this Mr. CEO’s Beloved Wife.
Ji Chenyuan
He’s the rich CEO who was unfortunately set up that night too. Ji Chenyuan’s character here in Mr. CEO’s Beloved Wife lacks background description, so in-depth characterization that I honestly find it hard to connect or feel his character. Except that he’s powerful and that he’s also a victim of that night, I see nothing more.
Maybe, it was due to the translation, since this was originally a Chinese novel. Anyway, Ji Chenyuan’s character has a lot more to give, there’s a lot to follow about him like how he is going to become a father to his child.
And how is he going to fall for Qinghuan? We see him being dominant and aggressive about having sole custody of his child, and that’s something that interests me.

Part 3: Review of Mr. CEO’s Beloved Wife
I can’t help but think that Mr. CEO’s Beloved Wife was another accidental runaway pregnancy story. I was wondering what’s the catch in a troupe like this. Many romance fans enjoy reading about runaway pregnant stories like Mr.
CEO’s Beloved Wife. These kinds of romance and stories are the result of casual relationships and one-night stands, but the difference here in Mr. CEO’s Beloved Wife, the protagonists are framed up.
So, I think that heavy conflict has been the intriguing part of the plot. Aside from that, kids, babies, and secret pregnancies where the life of the female lead changes all of a sudden, all these aspects are relatable to readers especially to females because these too can happen in real life. That’s why runaway pregnancy stories have their charm for readers.
As for Mr. CEO’s Beloved Wife, I could say that the premise isn’t that romantically striking but this is good for a romance genre.
If you will ask me if Mr. CEO’s Beloved Wife is worth our time, yeah, for me, somehow it’s worth it because in my case I was eager to know about what will happen to the villains once their conspiracy was exposed. So, I think that curiosity sustains my attention towards the end of the story.
Part 4: Similar Book To Mr. CEO’s Beloved Wife
If you love Mr. CEO’s Beloved Wife for its painful and dramatic plot, I think you will get to like Betrayed And Pregnant too.
I honestly like this book better because of its clear writing which makes it easy for me to connect to the events and characters. Betrayed And Pregnant is the story of Krista Matthews who was too naive when it comes to love but then she met a heartbreaker who shattered all her trust.
Krista Matthews has always been a trusting and fun-loving person. She has her mind set to go to college and to do good for herself and her family. That is until she meets Landon Kingston. He makes her feel things she is not supposed to. He is dark and mysterious, yet he is the sweetest person to her.
After a night of sweet passion and giving him her virginity, she decided to be his girlfriend. Months later, she finds out she is pregnant and she is so excited that she runs to tell Landon. But what she finds breaks her heart, he is making out with another woman! She feels defeated and decides to run away.
She doesn’t think he deserves to know about their child. She has to be a woman and raise her child by herself.
Landon Kingston has always gotten what he wanted. He was the heir to the Mafia King. His father was getting ready to step down and give Landon everything, but then he met Krista.
