Part 1: Plot Summary of Leaving The Country After Divorce
The story follows Roxanne who finds herself married to a man who doesn’t love or even regard her. When she finally understands that he would never give her his heart no matter how good she was to him, Roxanne takes drastic measures. Roxanne is able to get him to sleep with her through underhanded means.
The next day, she left the divorce papers for him and was gone. Roxanne was fully prepared for studying abroad, however, she soon realized that she was pregnant. She chose to not abort the children even though it would be a lot of responsibility to handle them on her own.
Six years later, Roxanne returns back home because of a work opportunity. At the airport, she has a near miss with Lucian. He cited her, but before he could verify, she was gone. Lucian was looking for his daughter, and when a woman with Roxanne’s voice calls to tell him his daughter was found, Lucian hurries. However, when he arrives, she’s not there. Rather, it’s someone else.
Lucian is certain of what he heard, and the circumstances just made it more believable that the woman who abandoned her kid was back. Yes, somehow that daughter Roxanne lost, was alive and made its way into Lucian’s arms.

Roxanne
She is a woman and a scientist. Roxanne had decided to leave her home country, partly to avoid Lucian Farwell’s anger. And, partly because she made up her mind to move on from everything she’d had to deal with all those years married to him. She was supposed to be advancing her career by going to study abroad, but a bigger surprise awaited her.
It changed everything. She found herself pregnant. She’d made the choice to sleep with Lucian at all costs, and this was the result of it. She could not terminate the pregnancy, they were her children. Therefore, her plans had to fit around the children. In this way, Roxanne lived abroad with her children. But, then an opportunity presented itself and she had to admit that she was no longer the same person who had left. No one was going to get in her way. However, it’s one thing to say it and another to put it into practice. What will she do when she finally stood in front of Lucian?
Lucian Farwell
He is a wealthy man and also Roxanne’s ex-husband. He’d fallen for Roxanne’s trap and then slept with her. He woke up the next morning to find divorce papers, and the woman responsible was gone. She had given him what she said she would.
However, not long after she completely disappeared, a daughter appeared in his life. When Roxanne finally appears after several years, Lucian is in for a surprise.

Chapter Six
Roxanne and her friend, Madilyn, take the children into the restaurant to eat. Roxanne made sure to take care of the little girl who was mute. They had already called the little girl’s father to come and get her. Strangely enough, Roxanne had thought the man’s voice was very familiar.
Her thoughts are confirmed when she overhears a conversation. Within the details are the fact that the Farwell family’s princess had gone missing, her father wasn’t sparing any effort to look for his daughter, and she was mute. Roxanne took a careful look at the girl she found and had to admit the clothes and the resemblance fit too well. The was also the mute factor.
Roxanne checked the little girl’s age and realized her conception would have coincided with the time she had left Lucian. Roxanne concluded that Lucian had immediately gone for his first love, right after she had walked out of his life. There was no other plausible explanation for why the little girl was this big (well, none that she could ever have imagined).
Then, she panicked. Lucian was coming. Hurriedly, Roxanne gave her friend the phone she had used to speak with Lucian. With a few more words, she turned to leave but was held back by a tug from the little girl. Roxanne quickly reassured the child that everything would be alright, then she pulled out from the child’s grip and left the scene before Lucian would show up.
Madilyn instructed the staff of the restaurant to clear the table of the other three sets of plates and cutlery. Not long after they were done with the task, a group of bodyguards showed up and Lucian emerged afterward.
