Avalynn
She is a young woman with an evidently soft heart. She grew up on the outside of everything. She was always the one left out and shoved outside of the group. This was the truth with the pack that she called her home. They condemned her and abused her the fact that she could not shift.
There was no werewolf who couldn’t shift into its wolf form. Therefore, Avalynn was the target of criticism and humiliation. She endured everything that was thrown at her. She stood up time and time again when they trampled on her. However, she received a blow that she could not come back from when she was rejected by her mate and then forced to accept the rejection. Time usually heals such scars but, having the failure slap you in the face constantly, does not help; She tries to avoid catching the sight of the bastard and his bimbo, but it’s impossible.
Avalynn is such a character that is unable to withstand the constant blows and considering her age, no one can blame the young girl. She resolves to take her own life but, is saved just in time from making a huge mistake. It’s almost as though the universe saw all that she had to deal with and sent her a charming prince to fix it all up.

Part 2: Plot Summary of Mated to the Lycan King
The story follows Avalynn who is mistreated by her pack because she has no wolf. She finally catches the scent of her mate and when she follows the scent, it leads her to a very familiar person. Avalynn comes before Ryder, the future alpha of the pack, and notices that they both realized the same thing. However, before Avalynn can be happy, she is rejected by Ryder who wants nothing to do with the pack’s joke. Avalynn subsequently struggles.
It was her senior year, yet she couldn’t be happy. Rather, she walked around feeling worried about the possibility of running into Ryder and Jamie, who Ryder told everyone was his mate. Avalynn just wanted the who year to be done. She managed it until her eighteenth birthday when she encountered Ryder once again. This time, his wolf took over and went after her. Ryder wrestled control and when he came back, he blamed Avalynn’s wolf-less nature for why his wolf could still smell her and was confused. Ryder insulted Avalynn and told her never to show her face in front of him again.
Avalynn who was barely holding on to a semblance of a peaceful life underlined by pain, finally couldn’t take it anymore. She said her farewell to her brother in a letter and left for the cliffs. She had only just stepped into the water and was about to make her way towards the part where the water current was strong when her plans were halted by the emergence of a male. Her new mate.
Everest saw the girl who swam through the water and made her way onto a boulder in the middle of the river. His heart pounded as he got an inkling of what she was going to do. At that moment, his beast informed him that that was his mate. Everest went over and not long after, they were locked in a passionate kiss. Then, Avalynn came back to her senses or something like that. She had no idea who this person was. He could be a rogue. She ran away from him.

Chapter Six
Avalynn had chosen her dress for the ceremony. It was perfect on her, and Claire agreed. She suggested that Avalynn show Prince Everest the dress, and she did. Everest couldn’t take his eyes off her. When he walked over, he told her to wait for him, he wanted his suit to match the color of her dress. Avalynn agreed with a smile.
Not long after Everest disappeared, and she was checking the details of her dress in the mirror, Ryder and Jamie entered the store. Jamie ridiculed Avalynn with eyes that held hate and disgust. Then, she demanded that Avalynn take off the dress she was wearing because she was going to be wearing it.
Avalynn refused with a growl which confused the two idiots. Ryder insisted she takes it off and she answered with a refusal once more. Avalynn stayed in the same position Everest had left her in. As Jamie came closer, Avalynn saw Everest’s dashing reflection in the mirror. She tuned out everything else around her and this was why she didn’t realize that Jamie was still hurling words at her. Just as Jamie threw another insult her way, Everest growled. Jamie whimpered and bared her neck at him.
Everett scolded Jamie for acting disgracefully, especially being a future Luna. Avalynn blinked as she looked at Jamie who was shaking and had watery eyes. Everett told Jamie to get out, and it was as she walked out, Ryder emerged and looked at Everest as well as Avalynn. He tried to defend Jamie and, in the process, called Avalynn a lying human. Everett corrected him; Avalynn was neither human nor did she have a wolf.
