Part 1: A Look At The Main Characters of Master Odell’s Secret Ex-Wife
To properly understand the storyline, it is eminent that we identify the who is who in this story.
Sylvia Carter is the protagonist of Master Modell’s secret ex-wife. She was about twenty-three by the time she discovered her pregnancy. She was classy, pretty, and tall.
Tara Avery is the chief antagonist of the story. Also pretty, classy, tall, and about the same age as Sylvia.
Odell Carter, another antagonist, is exceptionally handsome… stupendiously rich, and swimming in generational wealth. About thirty years old.
Part 2: Captivating Storyline of Master Odell’s Secret Ex-Wife
Now, let’s not forget that Sylvia Carter found out that she was pregnant with twins just about a few minutes ago. She rushed out of the hospital with determination written on her forehead.
She got into the backseat of the car and ordered her driver to go to Victoria Lake Villa. That area of town was a place reserved for only the stinking rich, it is where the man responsible for her pregnancy resided, with a mistress who’d been in his life for as long as Sylvia had been.
Sylvia Carter had never stepped foot in that house. But her husband of two years, who’d left their matrimonial home for about two months now, was living here. Heck, Master Odell Carter owned the condominium. The woman who lived here with him was Tara Avery. She used to be Sylvia’s best friend, they’d met as kids after Sylvia’s mother died and left her with her father. But her father remarried and his new wife wouldn’t live with his child, so she was left to live with her grandparents. But death soon claimed the old people and Sylvia returned to her dad. That was when she met Tara.
Together they studied, graduated high school and college, moved to the city, and began to hunt for jobs. Sylvia, being poor, used to mostly rely on Tara until they met Master Odell. The two ladies did everything in their power to win over the wealthy man.
At first, it was all for Sylvia, but she didn’t know that Tara had also begun to see him. Master Odell married Sylvia after she won the competition of acquiring the ultimate marriage certificate, but after discovering he’d been played into marriage, he decided to leave Sylvia and settle illegally with Tara.
Now, Sylvia arrived at the condominium. Even though she’d tricked her husband into marrying her, she thought she’d done enough to prove to him that she’d loved nothing more than she loved him. To be the perfect wife and fulfill every marital desire Master Odell might have.
She didn’t want to have to raise her children alone. As she entered the house, the first to greet her was Tara. She was dressed like a queen and was standing ready waiting for her arrival. She accosted Sylvia on the ground floor and tried to prevent her from going upstairs to see Master Odell.
As soon as Tara noticed that the struggle had attracted Odell’s attention, she fell off the stairs on her own, busted a bag of crimson liquid between her legs, and claimed she was having a miscarriage.
Master Odell punished Sylvia, placed her under house arrest until she gave birth, and decided to take her baby and send her away. He owned the house and staff where Sylvia lived, but he didn’t know that Sylvia had given birth to two babies.
After tormenting Sylvia very much, Odell ordered his staff to go get the baby… but Sylvia had earlier instructed her maid to remove the female baby and hide her. They left the house that day with just one baby, the male twin. And Sylvia was sent away.
Sylvia Carter did suffer terribly at the hands of her husband. No one could categorically say what Master Odell saw in Tara Avery that made her better than Sylvia. But Odell was hooked, he would come running at a simple sneeze from Tara and refuses to listen to any explanation.
In her hands, Master Odell treated Sylvia like a slave, and asking his bodyguards to slap her sixty times was the height of everything. Sylvia continued to love him until that last straw. But what happens after she returns to the city three years later, with her baby who’d become a superstar?
Part 3: Chapters To Watch Out For In Master Odell’s Secret Ex-Wife
Master Odell’s Secret Ex-Wife Chapter 21:
We now know that Master Odell took his child and sent Sylvia away, he also made her sign a divorce agreement which gave Odell total custody of his children. The only reason she was able to get away with the other twin was that Master Odell didn’t know she had twins.
In this chapter, Sylvia had become rich, yes. But she still wasn’t rich enough to reverse at least some of the terms of the agreement. Master Odell was still more powerful than she was, and he took away the second baby as well.
Master Odell’s Secret Ex-Wife Chapter 27:
Since Master Odell had now come into the full custody of his two children, Sylvia had to find other ways to be able to have a little access to see her children. She was willing to do anything at all, and Master Odell would stop at nothing to use the opportunity.
He added her to his employment list and decided what tasks she was to be carrying out. Of course, the present Mrs. Tara Carter wasn’t happy with the arrangement.
Part 4: Evaluation of Master Odell’s Secret Ex-Wife
Master Odell’s secret ex-wife teaches us to be moderate in making life choices. Having two women in his life simultaneously may seem right in Master Odell’s sight, but it didn’t end well for him.
There were constant troubles and a lot of restlessness. On Sylvia’s part, we learn that love should not be forced, marriage is not by force. It is more enjoyable to let things happen as they should. That said, Master Modell’s secret ex-wife is quite the story, everything is possible in this one lengthy romantic novel.
