Aurelia was orphaned at a very young age and therefore had to be raised in the orphanage. But she was adobted by a lovely family when she was twelve and since then, life had been too good especially to such a girl as herself. Her foster parents were good to her and she was all they had in the way of children.
When she graduated college, she got a nice a paying job as a secretary in one of the thriving organizations situated in the city. Her foster parents weren’t rich, but they had enough to take care of Aurelia. And they owned a Victorian mansion in the big city.
Within two years as a working class lady, a handsome young man who didn’t have any roots in the city migrated there. Seth was hardworking and knew exactly how to identify opportunities. His ambitions were so great that they made him extremely narcissistic and selfish.
He began to date Aurelia, who at this time couldn’t see him for what he actually was. Six months into the relationship, Seth moved into Aurelia’s family building. Aurelia had to help out so he didn’t have to keep driving for miles to get to work. Another six months later, Aurelia’s mother fell seriously ill.
Her father had died a few years after her adoption and since then, it had been just the two of them. Her mother accepted Seth with all her heart. She made sure he fed properly and lacked nothing in the way of care.
About two years into the relationship and one year and six months since he’d been living in Aurelia’s family house, Seth proposed. Aurelia’s mother was so happy that she didn’t ask for any dowries. Catastrophe struck, though, and her illness sent her to the hospital.
Aurelia began to care for the woman who gave her a better life than she would never have had as an orphan. Since her mother was in a coma, she required oxygen and nursing. When Aurelia confronted him, he asked her to abandon her mother. How she was a burden which was going to drag her down. Seth said a lot of disturbing things which were triggering to her already tormented existence. And Aurelia gathered all her energy and let him go.
By now, she’d been friends with an older woman. Their relationship was orchestrated by fate and since then, they’d become good friends… eating lunch or shopping together. She was a good listening ear to Madam Linda and unbeknownst to her, Madam Linda had a plan.
She’d discovered the fraud Seth was and needed to open Aurelia’s understanding to this. After breaking up, Aurelia was on her way to visit her mother when Linda called. Linda pleaded for immediate help and Aurelia went running immediately. Turned out Linda had invited her to a blind date location where her son -Leslie Synder, was in attendance.
