Alexander is this gorgeous man, but his life revolves around violence and bloodshed. He stops at nothing when it comes to spilling blood and he enjoys it when people beg him for mercy.
For him, love makes people weak, thus he will try to keep his cold heart around Sapphire. Love will trick him though, and he will find himself mesmerized by the pure girl. Sapphire is decent and demure and she will do everything in her power to stay away from Alexander, but she will feel drawn to him like a magnet, thus she won’t be able to keep her distance from him.

Part 1: Main Story of Mafia And His Broken Angel
Sapphire goes to the club with her friend Bella, who is trying to get back at her boyfriend, who, once again, gambled without telling her. Her plan is to hook up with a guy and dump him by the end of the evening.
Unfortunately, Bella’s plan is ruined when her boyfriend shows up, apologizing for lying to her. The two of them make up, leaving Sapphire all alone at the bar. Thinking that her friend and James, her boyfriend must be somewhere playing all lovey-dovey, Sapphire gets bored. She is sorry for coming to the club, as she isn’t a party person at all.
To add more to her sorrow, she can’t leave as she has to wait for Bella to return from her ‘ten-minute’ talk with her boyfriend. It has been more than an hour since she left and still no sign of her. Sapphire makes a mental promise to beat her friend when she dares to invite her to the club again because she is angry at her lying lover.
After patiently waiting for so long, Sapphire starts feeling uncomfortable when three men start gazing at her in a perverted way. She texts Bella that she is leaving and, as she is headed towards a taxi, the three men start harassing her, promising the girl a night to remember.
Just as one of the guys grabbed her waist and tried to pull her closer, Sapphire turned her karate mode on and beat the guys to a pulp. She is a black belt holder in karate, thus she knows how to defend herself, and that’s why she is nicknamed Lady Rambo or Iron Lady.
Alexander keeps thinking about the ‘Little Tigress’ he saw outside the club last night. He can’t seem to grasp the idea that a girl could get stuck in his head like that. Women always threw themselves at his feet and he had never given them much though. Why was this girl so different?
As he was sitting in her car, waiting to get back at the bastard Louis Holt who tried to extort him for money, Alexander saw a fragile-looking, stunning girl being harassed by three lousy men. Without second thoughts, the woman actually beat the shit out of those lowlifes.
Alexander decided to watch the girl from afar, as he was intrigued by her skills and beauty, thus he sent his driver to follow her home and learn her address.
Sapphire wakes up from the nightmare that kept tormenting her entire life. It was more like a memory about the one time her stepfather tried to rape her when she was a mere child. Her mother didn’t do anything to help her, she got away on her own.
Opening her phone, she discovers several calls from an unknown number, along with several messages from someone promising her that she will belong to him. Alexander was irked by the fact that Sapphire was ignoring him and this made him feel even more attracted to her.
As a bad boy, who killed everyone who betrayed him, Alexander didn’t cope well with the idea that a woman could turn down his affection. Carrying on with his business, the man has one of his employees brutally murdered after he betrayed his boss. No plea was good enough to change his mind.
When they finally meet, Sapphire will have mixed feelings toward Alexander. On the one hand, she is drawn to him as he is a handsome, charming man, and on the other hand, she fears him as he seems obsessed with her. Will Alexander prove that his intentions are pure when it comes to his little broken angel?
Part 2: Mafia and His Broken Angel Novel Review
Overall, it’s a great read with well-portrayed characters and an intriguing storyline. I admit that Alexander’s stalking from the beginning of the novel seemed a little far-fetched but, eventually, I found it sweet and endearing. He actually cared enough for Sapphire to follow her in order to protect her.
Sapphire’s lack of fear towards abusers is admiring. We know that her apparent braveness has a terrible story behind her, as her stepfather tried to abuse her when she was a kid and her mother always considered her a liability and literally emotionally abused her as well, but it’s incredible how brave she can be, despite her background story.
Even Alexander surprised me throughout the story. He seemed cocky at first, too proud to admit that a woman could soften him, but eventually his personality is reshaped by Sapphire. An unexpected thing for a mafia bad boy.
Mafia And His Broken Angel is definitely a book I would recommend for further reading. It’s entertaining and emotional and it has some hot, steamy scenes that will make your head swirl with pleasure.
