The beginning of Love’s Cruel Stroke started with the cruel sight of Rachel Yates locked up in a storehouse. She was pregnant, and so her father, Mr. Yates hid her away from the public so that she would not bring spoil to the Yates family via giving birth to an illegitimate child.
Heavily pregnant for eight months, Rachel was going through the worse treatment while she was locked up. The author narrates that since she had been locked up in the storehouse, she had not been outside.
On this fateful day in Love’s Cruel Stroke Novel, Rachel was going to give birth. Yes, at eight months, she stressed ”baby” was bout to deliver. She begged to be taken to the hospital, but of course, it fell on deaf ears.

Rachel Yates is the lead female character of Love’s Cruel Stroke. She is the heir of Yate’s property, but she was being knocked down the stead by her evil younger sister. She had been set up in the past to sleep with a stranger just so that she could be ridiculed, unknown to her evil perpetrators that they were setting her up to sleep with the wealthiest and most powerful man in the city, Jacob Ford.
Jacob Ford
Jacob Ford is the male lead of the novel, Love’s Cruel Stroke. An unassuming and powerfully wealthy man, he was faced with a horrendous lie for four years, having Shirley Yates around him as his forced partner just because she claimed to be the mother of his sons, Dmitri and Damien Ford.
An astute businessman with smashingly attractive looks, Jacob Ford was not to be messed with and everyone, including the Yate family head, was careful not to offend such a powerful man.
Part 4: Conclusion of Love’s Cruel Stroke
Love’s Cruel Stroke is a mind-blowing and interesting book to read. The author does a great job of telling the story with scenes that are told so well, one would imagine them vividly in his or her mind’s eye. Well-placed cliffhangers and a thrilling plot make the novel stand out a hundred percent in the archives of contemporary romance novels.
