Yu Lan:
Yu Lan is the female lead character in Love You More Than I Can.’At the beginning of the novel, she was portrayed as the villain of the story, but subsequent chapters reveal her to be the protagonist of the story.

The protagonist of the book is a woman named Yu Lan who endures the scourge of an unhappy marriage.’ It’s quite disturbing that she loved a man that didn’t even like her.
It all started when her younger half-sister, Yu Yi fell in love with Sheng Young. They became engaged and started preparing for their nuptials. But, Yu Yi was shocked to find out that Sheng Youting had slept with her elder sister. She was unable to accept what she had just learned. Her man is having an affair with her blood sister. Unbelievable!
The Sheng family has a solid reputation and is well-respected.’When the family found out about the sex escapade that was ensured between Yu Lan and Sheng Youting, they decided that Sheng Youting is going to marry Yu Lan to save both families’ status.
Sheng Youting had to live with the pains and regrets of marrying someone he never loved. He was sorry for making his lover sad and blamed Yu Lan for all of it. But then, is Yu Lan the actual cause of all these?

They admitted that they had plotted every scenario perfectly during their chat. They did this to take Yu Lan’s shares and transfer them to Yu Yi.’These are shares Yu Lan inherited from her late mom.’After they might have succeeded in taking Yu Lan’s shares, they’ll destroy her marriage to Sheng Youting.’The end game is for Yu Yi to marry Sheng Young.
