The Princess Trap was not your typical royalty romance novel. It moved in a very fascinating way that promises its readers a satisfying ending.
A standalone hot contemporary regal read with dangerous and penetrating steamy scenes which you could not get enough of. However, please be aware that it contains filthily explicit parts which are not suitable for young and sensitive readers.
Compared to other novels under the same category, this BWWM masterpiece had no cliffhangers and was straight to the point. You just read it right, meaning you will get what you want as you like it. With that, Talia Hibbert is a genius for putting up just perfectly into place.
Sorry but I guess I am starting to do fangirling. Her attention to inciting scenes and great dialogue were something that I have to commend. It was impressively astounding, I might say. For it was not just a boring ordinary fairytale, with no corsets or exaggerated hairdos. The Princess Traps’ main setup took place in the modern era.
The story circled around the startling romance that was built between a gorgeous man from a royal bloodline, Prince Ruben, and an office worker, Cherry. Their personalities were both so relatable, especially for those who were having complicated choices in their lives.

Cherry Neita is an HR staff in a school called Rosewood Academy who was surprised by her colleagues. However, she hated birthdays, and while chit-chatting in the office, Louise the receptionist went in to share shocking news with the Admin Team.
So apparently, it was the male lead whose name was PrinceMagnus Ruben Ambjrn Octavian Gyldenstierne of Helgmre. What a long name but he preferred to be called Ruben. This Royal Highness was oozing with sexiness and was amazingly handsome. However, his true identity was hidden from Cherry.
At first, she was not aware of his royal life on a tiny Scandinavian island and all that stuff. Ruben only wanted that said academy to be a branch of their school for elite students and sponsor a scholarship program there. As soon as he laid his eyes on her while they were in an urgent meeting, he told himself that he had to have her.
There was a significant attraction that hit his core right from that magical moment. Ruben knew what he wants, and even asked Cherry for her company without any hesitations.
It was still her birthday when the two went out together in the town center. The first date turned out well and the rest was history. Their second met up was incredibly intense and they kissed while inside the car. Yet it was also the main reason why their names became trending.
They were caught in a camera being intimate which made them an item, that leads to Helgmrekingdom. With that, he had to make up a story and asked Cherry to be his fiance.
Part 2: A BWWM Novel Like No Other: The Princess Trap
Ruben was a crowned prince and was only recovering from the filthy scandal in which he was involved with his ex-lover. Until the time came for the truth to come out, he had to come back to his kingdom and introduce Cherry as his princess-to-be.
However, it was not easy as it seemed. For he had criticized siblings from different mothers, who were all not on good terms with him. The sequence of events flowed in a fast-paced manner. From there, he asked Cherry to stay with him for a year and then she could finally come back home for good.
In the later chapters of The Princess Trap, the touching backstory of Prince Ruben was told. He was abused by his sisters and brothers, knowing that his parents died in a boating accident. Now, the one on the throne as a king of Helgmre was none other than his brother who had the decision about the woman he was about to marry.
But all the challenges did not stop them from loving each other for real. Until the time came when they no longer had to pretend about the real deal about their relationship.
Prince Ruben took the initiative to fight for what he truly wants while Cherry no longer minds the judgment and intrigues. Then again, what matters most was the deep connection they both had in their hearts. She accepted the distressing past that he had and also his bisexuality.
There was no marriage in the end and she did not become the crowned princess but he proposed to her and Cherry did not think twice to say yes. And I think that is another best way to wrap up that liberating story of two different people bonded as one by love.

As Bob Sanders saying goes, Size doesnt matter. It’s all about the heart. This quirky fantabulous novel by Talia Hibbert told me more about stopping stereotyping beauty. Women are beautiful in all forms and they are deserving of being loved and cherished, just like Cherry. And whether you are cocoa-skinned or white, genuine splendor came right inside and not what the eyes see.
