Isolde de Lara
Isolde de Lara is a warrior and princess of the house of Lara (one of the nine houses of the kingdom of Cordova). At just twenty-six she’s infamous for being wild, untamed, beautiful, a good fighter, and picky with men as she has no interest in marriage, but is still beloved by all.
Things used to be normal for Isolde until the arrival of the blood king, and her father’s decision to surrender. She could protest, but she was in no position to counter the decision of her father, the king. This was why she could not do more than just spy on the vampires camping near their borders.
After spying on the vampires, Isolde had returned to the castle in an attempt to get away from commander Killian, but met a strange on her way – one she’d successfully killed, suffering just a scratch on her end.
Still feeling woozy from her wounds getting infected, a vampire she’d not noticed, had helped heal her, making her feel the heat in unholy places in the process.
When she finally gets to the castle and prepares to welcome the blood king later that night, Isolde is shocked to find out that the man who had made her feel lustful, and warm and wet in delicate places, back in the woods was no one other than the blood king himself.
He must’ve felt the same way about her too because he asks for her to be his queen in exchange to spare the house of Lara.
Adrian Aleksandr Vasiliev
Adrian Aleksandr Vasiliev, is a vampire lord said to be cursed by the goddess Dis, but infamously known as the blood king. He’s a very handsome, and tall man with a domineering presence accentuated by his gold-blond hair. Hailing from Revekka, the blood king had been on a quest to conquer the nine houses kingdom of Cordova.
When Adrian the blood king, goes to honor the surrender of the house of Lara, he asks for princess Isolde’s hand in marriage in return – a young maiden who had enticed him in the woods. As he’d expected King Henri puts up a fight for his daughter, but eventually he agrees because in truth, the house of Lara has no other option except war.
Commander Killian
Alec Killian is the commander of the royal guard of the house of Lara – a position he inherited from his late father who died three years ago. He’s a ruggedly handsome man, with black hair and grey eyes, and a body perfectly sculpted with hours of training.
With all his features, commander Killian is an entitled man, who believes he and the princess of Lara, Isolde, are now a thing because they had sex. This upsets Isolde because she feels Killian is over-possessive even though he does not realize this.
Things even get worse for Killian who’s still disagreeing with the fact that Isolde doesn’t like him. When the blood king enters Lara, he demands to wed his sweetheart, Isolde, in return to spare the people of Lara. Killian is ready to fight and die to prevent this, but his hands are tied when Isolde agrees in a heartbeat.

Chapter one
With almost all the houses of Cordova conquered by the blood king, King Henri, ruler of Lara is forced to seek an audience with the blood king vampire Adrian. This idea does not sit well with some people, especially Isolde, the princess of Lara.
Because she’s unable to do anything, and with the commander, Killian constantly nagging her, Isolde decides to go home but encounters a strzyga on her way – a dirty monster who used to be people before they died and rose from death due to the blood plague.
Isolde of course defeats the strzyga after suffering an infected scratch from the creature. Luckily for her, a strange, fine vampire with gold-blonde hair discovers her and heals her by licking off the blood on her wound.
Isolde has mixed reactions as someone who’s supposed to be the enemy eventually turns out to be a helper, and also an aphrodisiac who’s making her feel lustful, warm, and wet in unholy places.
