Part 1: Kelley Armstrong- the Author of the Best-Selling Series

The story follows Elena the world’s only female werewolf, who was bitten and turned into a werewolf without her consent. She is trying to live her life ignoring the wolf in her but when she finds her pack in trouble, Elena leaves her normal human life as she returns to the call from her Alpha.
The book is followed by “Stolen” the second read in the series which was released in the year 2003 and is so different from its first novel with another unique plotline.

Unlike any other werewolf story or fantasy pick, the whole Bitten series brings a new picture to the paranormal romance. The women of otherworld series were adapted as television series in the year 2014.

And now, Elena is trying to fit in the normalcy in the human world leading a boring life with her architect boyfriend. But her world crashes again when she’s called by the alpha of the pack seeking her help to solve a murder of a local woman.
She is a kick-ass and perfect female heroine whose character solidifies the foundation for the book and its series. She’s relatable, confident, and strong. Kelley has presented one of the best and most unique character through Elena Michaels.
Clayton (Clay) Danvers is the pack Alpha Jeremy’s foster son turned bodyguard. Clay was bitten as a child. He is more of a wolf than a man. He is still in love with Elena, his ex-girlfriend who he had Bitten causing her to become the only female werewolf which he has his reasons for.
When Elena returns to the pack, they try to solve the murder in the pack estate. Clay is the definition of the perfect hot werewolf male protagonist. He has no inferiority in front of a strong female like Elena and he is loyal. He makes no mistake and goes to any extent to keep his love interest safe. Clay is one of the most refreshing characters that will stay in mind.
Jeremy Danvers is the pack Alpha, who is a foster father to Clayton. When a local woman is found murdered he calls Elena for help. Like the alpha character should be Jeremy portrays a powerful character.
The characters of Kelley Armstrong’s Bitten series are flawed, but she doesn’t make them unlikeable. She presents all of them well, showing their abilities, flaws, and imperfections making them more relatable.
Part 6: Thoughts on Kelley Armstrong
Kelley Armstrong is one of the best fantasy writers who brings in her own unique take on a werewolf romance in her Bitten book part of the Women of the Otherworld series. The series is solidified by Bitten which is such a refreshing book to start off with. The strong kick-ass heroine, Elena Michaels is the only female werewolf in the world. The story is intriguing, and suspenseful with a mystery but it also holds a passionate love story that feels tragic sometimes because you want the lead characters to be together so bad. The bitten novel is beautifully written, it will always hold a special place for a reader because Kelley Armstrong makes no mistake and leaves no room in her first ever book followed by the other books in the series.
