Part 1: Plot Summary of The Rejected Doctor
Leon has been the only one for Arielle Grey ever since they were young. Her feelings for the man increased threefold after the moon goddess set them up as a couple. However, Leon’s good luck doesn’t last forever, as he ends up abandoning Arielle Grey. Five years later, she became a doctor.
As part of moving on, Arielle focused her entire life on progressing toward her goals. She chose the Redding Pack as her new medical practice. Arielle was grateful for the beta pack’s warm welcome. The next day was busy for her because she was the only doctor there, and the first day she worked there was a blast of patients. However, she did not anticipate criticism from some of them.
Murmurs are overflowing about her not having a mate yet like it was a sin. It caused a sharp pain in her chest, but she decided to ignore it. However, they do have a point because at 23 years old, she should be married. Well, she was mated but eventually got rejected. She is the rejected doctor, as her friends say.
She was in the midst of that thought when Beta Darren stormed into her clinic with a bloodied man. She was suddenly concerned when she saw the man’s severe injuries. The beta instructed her to sedate the man and prevent him from leaving the clinic. It was Alpha Richard, the alpha of the Redding Pack that made the situation even worse.
She didn’t expect to have that early encounter with the alpha of her new home. Beta Darren said the alpha was self-abusive and worked himself to death. So that’s what the sedative is for, to put the alpha to sleep. Arielle has successfully cured Alpha Richard; now, he can rest and recover.
Alpha Richard was irritated by the doctor’s authoritative nature. Who is she to dictate what he should do? He’ll be fine after a while on his own, as it’s just a scratch. It was Darren who pushed him to get himself checked out. But when the pain finally set in, his words turned to a groan.
The wound in his stomach was so deep that the doctor raised his brow, which he responded to by rolling his eyes. Alpha Richard held firm and displayed his strength despite clearly being in pain. He reaches a point where he lacks sufficient sleep to attend pack work. Because of this, his best friend, Darren, always advised him to rest and avoid overworking himself. One day, Richard’s limits were tested when he was on patrol and was involved in an accident. Darren rushed him to the hospital, where he met Arielle, a rejected doctor who loved to boss him around.

Arielle Grey
She is the main character in The Rejected Doctor and a successful physician who has made Redding Pack Hospital her home hospital to serve patients. After being rejected by Leon as his mate, Arielle devoted her life to helping those in need. In her old pack, she was known as the rejected doctor.
She moved to Redding Pack in order to start over. Meeting the haughty Alpha Richard as her first patient was too much for a fresh slate. Due to the alpha’s immaturity and stubbornness, they fought over a single deep wound.
Alpha Richard
He is the protagonist and alpha of Redding Pack in The Rejected Doctor. Alpha Richard is a dedicated worker who enjoyed the odd “work till you drop” situation. And this overwork led to his accident while on patrol. Thanks to his best friend for rescuing him and immediately bringing him to the pack hospital.
At that point, she was introduced to the most authoritative doctor he had ever encountered. Arielle tested his patience to the point where he eventually came to admire the woman’s fierce personality, which was the source of the annoyance.
Leon
This man is Arielle’s rejected mate and the one who gave her the moniker “rejected doctor.” Even if it breaks his heart, Leon must leave for his own reasons. Leon has no desire to leave Arielle, but he must.
After being gone for five years, Leon returned hoping to be with Arielle again, but he found out that his mate had fallen in love with someone else. However, he will not give up so easily and attempt to win Arielle’s love again.

She was just Richard’s bed mate, but she was too obsessed with the belief that the moon goddess would soon answer her prayer to be Richard’s, fated mate. Richard was her only known romantic interest. In spite of Richard repeatedly pushing Elise away, she persists in attempting to sleep in his bed.

My loyalty was tested between the Alpha Richard-Arielle and Arielle-Leon love teams, as both men’s feelings for Arielle are genuine. The novel The Rejected Wolf provided an enjoyable reading experience. The author has a strong understanding of how to develop characters based on the traits and perspectives they possess.
