Maria Abena got into a bit of entanglement in this contemporary romance novel called I Seduced The Deceitful Duke. A guild member of “‘Phrut” according to the narrative of the book, Maria Abena was sent on a mission against a certain Duke called, Duke Berry Winter. For whatever reason, the guild had received a commission to go after the Duke.

Not like she had the option to say no as such, but Maria Abena was going to coo at her her guild master into perhaps giving her another task, but as soon as she heard the cash reward for a successful job done, she jumped into it. One million gold coins. Apparently, gold coins were the legal tender at the location where Maria Abena was at.

Part 1: Main Story of I Seduced The Deceitful Duke

I Seduced The Deceitful Duke Phrut Labrador

In I Seduced The Deceitful Duke, Maria’s eyes shone in delight and she immediately sprang on her feet, declaring readiness and loyalty to her new assignment. She promised to do a fantastic job, and by all standards, a fantastic job was exactly what Maria Abena delivered.

But something happened when Maria Abena was engrossed in making the gullible audience believe why the wedding of Duke Berry Winter should not hold, Berry Winter agreed with her and claimed to know her as well.

Shocking right? In I Seduced The Deceitful Duke novel, Maria Abena entered the venue of the duke’s wedding dramatically, demanding for the wedding to be nullified at once. Laughable. Of course, everybody in the hall turned towards the direction of her voice, gasping with intense surprise and staring at her act like a real lover of the duke. Maria Aben even claimed that she was pregnant for the duke.

More gasps, and more surprised stares fell on Maria Abena, including the duke and his would-be wife at the alter who was questioning him intensely, asking him to explain to her if what this strange woman was saying was the truth.

To everyone’s surprise, the duke played along, claiming that he knew Maria. Where had she been since the last time they met? The duke asked Maria. Maria was taken aback by several miles. Nothing had prepared her for such a response.

I Seduced The Deceitful Duke narrates that it did not just end with this accusation from Maria to the Duke and the Duke agreeing with her, no. The Duke took the chaos out of the hall and happened to officially cancel the wedding and break up with his would-be wife. Nobody understood what was going on at the moment, in all honesty.

It became such an intense moment, and Maria Abena soon became so desperate to leave. She became so desperate to the extent that she had to use teleportation magic to disappear from the presence of the duke, back to her place of safety.

After reporting back to her guild that she had done the job required of her, in I Seduced The Deceitful Duke, Maria went back home to her father. Yes, she lived with her father. After she got home, she realized that her father was in a distressed state, so she inquired from him what was going on. The man could hardly state anything.

Eventually, Maria Abena’s father confessed to being in a financial constraint. He was addicted to gambling and had lost in the game as a result, he had to pay the sum of one million gold as his gambling agreement stated. Exactly one million gold, the amount of money that Mariah Abena had just earned after ruining the duke’s wedding. Maria heaved a tired sigh.

Of course, at this point in I Seduced The Deceitful Duke, Mariah had not decided to give her father any money to offset his gambling debts, even though she had the money at her disposal. She had had enough of him. This was not the first time he had been in this situation, and Mariah had saved him from it. After she saved him, he promised to stop gambling, but here they were once more.

Mariah had to change her mind quickly when the person that her father owed, was going to take away a priced possession that Mariah’s mother had intentionally given to Mariah before she died.

Mariah Abena threw the entire one million gold that was with her at the man, asking him to return the souvenir that he took. Criminals don’t settle for less, of course, so the man being owed took the money, a souvenir, and told Mariah that he was still being owed interest and that he would soon be back to pick it up. Part 3: Hot Chapters of I Seduced The Deceitful Duke

Chapters 1-4

I Seduced The Deceitful Duke Maria Abena

These four chapters of I Seduced The Deceitful Duke is the start of something very nice. This book was very properly written and represented. The very hilarious start of this book narrates how it all started. Maria was pretty much without a task in the guild she served, so the best one came to her soon. Her guild master asked her to go and disrupt the wedding of the Duke, Berry Winter.

Maria Abena succeeded in her ploy and even accepted the one million gold reward that was up for grabs for her, but things took a turn for her. Should I say, the plot backfired? Very likely, the plot backfired for Maria Abena, the Duke she supposedly embarrassed asked for her hand in marriage claiming to know her as well, and agreeing that he got her pregnant.
