Part 1: What Are People Like in the House of Earth and Blood

House of Earth and Blood - Part 1 What Are People Like

Bryce is our main character in the house of earth and blood. Bryce is a passionately loyal friend who is frank about her sexuality and a bit of a party animal (but not someone to underestimate). She’s also half-Fae and the only one bold enough to confront them.

Hunt Fallen angel and the broody substitute we all require now that Jon Snow has left us. Completely misguided and very passionate.

Ruhn Fae prince and Bryce’s cousin, notwithstanding their recent dispute. He is sick of his father and trying to live up to his expectations.

Danika Bryce’s best buddy and a wolf-shifter. Alpha of the pack and in line to replace Prime. She is known as a party girl, but she is also a fantastic friend in this novel of the house of earth and blood.

Part 2: The Main Characters Setting on House of Earth and Blood

House of Earth and Blood - Part 2 Main Characters Setting

In part 2 house of earth and blood Bryce Quinlan is a half-human, half-fae party girl who lives a rather comfortable existence.

She works hard, plays even harder, and enjoys dancing. Of course, her ideal existence is about to be shattered when her closest friend and destined-to-be Alpha of wolf packs all over the world, Danika Fender, is brutally killed in her apartment by a demon, along with her whole pack.

To revenge their murders, Bryce joins forces with Hunt Athalar, a fallen angel who is chained by Archangels to conduct dirty work for his lord, slaying his adversaries without hesitation. Hunt’s might and reputation for devastation are legendary in Crescent City, but he will not be free until he completes his contract.

With a demon on the loose in town in the house of earth and blood, Hunt is assigned to work with the tough and vindictive Bryce to investigate the deaths of Danika and her pack, as well as the demon causing havoc on the city.

If he can assist Bryce and solve these unexplained deaths, he will be one step closer to freedom. But as the inquiry progresses and Hunt and Bryce’s friendship reaches a burning intensity they never imagined, they uncover a far darker force that threatens all of Crescent City’s demons, fairies, angels, and humans.

Part 3: The Main Story of House of Earth and Blood

House of Earth and Blood - Part 3 Main Story

Bryce and Hunt live in a supernatural and urban world full of cars, telephones, witchy apartment enchantments, and even nail salons. Some of the moments will appeal to those who enjoy passionate and ravenous romance moments.

Aside from highly violent and sensual encounters, these two get quite close after Hunt agrees to remain in her apartment with her. We know where this is going: sharing space and getting to know one other.

But Bryce begins to understand he’s not quite the alphahole she thought he was in the house of earth and blood… She begins to worry for him since she cares. But he cares for her as well.

What I liked about their relationship’s evolution was how much they learned about each other and how vulnerable they were. I believe the author conveyed their authenticity, foibles, and perfections perfectly.

Bryce gradually dropped her defenses, but she didn’t lose her snarky attitude. While this narrative focused a lot on Bryce and Hunt’s friendship, the actual topic to pay attention to is Bryce and Danika’s bond, which lasted long after Danika’s death.

In the house of earth and blood, author was consistent with Bryce’s intense emotional desire to get retribution for Danika’s death from beginning to end. It made her more approachable. What wouldn’t you do to revenge the loss of your closest friend?

In the end, Bryce was prepared to give her life for the sake of all the people of Crescent City, and she was willing to do it simply to see her best friend again, even if it meant crossing over into the hereafter.

Part 4: Summary

House of Earth and Blood - Summary

House of earth and blood is written in the third person, so we got to see the story from several perspectives. We get to experience the narrative through the perspective of Hunt, her brother Ruhn, and several minor characters. This is an adult fantasy novel rather than a young adult novel. The tale lagged at times, but not to the point of becoming overbearing.

Despite the length of the book, the story was complete. Because of how well everything was executed, this could easily stand alone. Finally, there was a cliffhanger, but it wasn’t significant enough to make you feel like the story was completed.

I was pleased with how this novel ended. Danika, on the other hand, tells her that someone is waiting for her and that it’s time to get up.

This was my favorite section of the house of earth and blood. since it wasn’t only about her blossoming love for Athalar, but about her limitless love for someone who gave her strength while still saving her in the end.

Also, what Lehabah did for Bryce! It will make you cry during that part. You’ll have to read the book to read how it ends. I highly recommend house of earth and blood and encourage fantasy lovers to read it.
