Chapter 1

Werewolf's Heartsong Chapter 1

Physically strong, well-built, and the descendant of one of the seven original werewolves: Alora could live a successful and accomplished life if her clan’s people didn’t intervene with her. Yet, Chapter 1 of Werewolf Heartsong suggests otherwise. Her clan almost always threatens to make her a clan-less wolf for her DNA test result.

Alora’s DNA test result in Werewolf’s Heartsong Chapter 1 doesn’t only prove her inheritance to Luna Heartsong, the first Luna in the werewolf’s history. Instead, it also becomes a hurdle to her as her parents and other authorities around her keep holding her back because they feel Alora is too powerful.

Chapter 8

Werewolf's Heartsong Chapter 8

Even though Alora is Luna Heartsong’s descendant, she is Alora Northmountain, not Heartsong. We see such an emphasis when we read Werewolf’s Heartsong Chapter 8. At the same time, Alora’s status in being one of the seven original werewolves’ descendants means it is a usual thing for her to get placed into the Elite class instead of the lower Reserve fighter class.

Alora is a top student in her class, and she even outsmarts Darien, one of her male best friends. Meanwhile, Sarah, Alora’s bully sister, remains a bully. Such a thing forces Alora to protect her weaker friends from her sister while keeping herself unaffected by her sister’s taunts and threats.

Sarah’s threats are getting more intimidating in Werewolf’s Heartsong Chapter 8. She doesn’t like the thought of Alora getting into the Elite class! What else could Alora do in such an emotionally draining situation?

Chapter 11

Werewolf's Heartsong Chapter 11

Sarah shows her high-handedness more in Chapter 11 of Werewolf’s Heartsong novel. Being Alora’s sibling means she knows Alora’s power ranks better than other werewolves. Still, she feels entitled to chain her and reclaim her mate, Matt, the man whom she can only see as far as his gorgeous looks.

Even though Matt can’t comprehend why is his wolf suggesting to move on from Sarah, Matt can’t stop thinking about her. In addition, Matt also wishes to rescue Alora and inform Darien, Alora’s best friend, about Alora’s condition. After all, Matt also knows Alora is not a terrible person just because she reacts to Sarah.

Part 2: All About The Main Storylines Of Werewolf’s Heartsong Novel

Werewolf's Heartsong Novel

At first, Werewolf’s Heartsong looks like another werewolf romance novel with two sisters hating each other as one of the main elements. Yet, Luna Heartsong is the primary focus of the whole storyline of Werewolf’s Heartsong novel. Being one of the seven original werewolves means Luna Heartsong possesses a fearsome power and a respectable position in her society back when she was alive.

Here, we enter the story of Alora Northmountain, the direct descendant of Luna Heartsong. As the descendant of such a powerful Alpha warrior, Alora has many alluring physical features. She stands tall with her 5’9″ height and looks drop-dead gorgeous in any outfits she wears. In addition, Alora also becomes the top student in everything she does.

Sarah, Alora’s bully sister, is one of the problems in Alora’s life. Even though she knows both come from a respectable bloodline, Sarah loves to taunt and torment Alora. She even cooperates with her parents to deny Alora’s freedom and movements in and outside their house. Both of these nasty people also team up to seek excuses to destroy Alora’s self-confidence.

For so long, Alora of Werewolf’s Heartsong novel tries to hide her DNA as Luna Heartsong’s direct descendant. She puts on a tough face while hiding her wolf and formidable powers as much as she can. She also teams up with her best friends to hide her powerful nature from the public while dealing with the gaslighting effects Sarah and her parents have implanted in her mind.

Yet, even the strongest female warrior like Alora has her tired moments. So, what if Alora could enjoy the peace with her best friends? What about never having to hide herself anymore while still using her power to help other people in need without fighting?

Part 3: A Novel Review Of Werewolf’s Heartsong

Werewolf's Heartsong Free

Werewolf’s Heartsong is one of the less dramatic werewolf romance novels. Yet, that’s what I like from reading this novel. You’ll see many memorable battle scenes where Alora, the powerful female MC, keeps beating Sarah, despite Sarah’s constant bullying of her.

Alora is a powerful and remarkable female warrior, even in her attempts to disguise herself. So, I would say Alora has failed to hide her power from the public. When I read Werewolf’s Heartsong contents, Alora’s failure in doing so feels more intensified when she communicates with her wolf for the first time and learns about Luna Heartsong, her previous life, in her DNA test result.

Luna Heartsong is one of the highlights I spot in Werewolf’s Heartsong. Since Alora is her direct descendant, we can be sure Luna Heartsong was gone a long time ago. Yet, other werewolves can still feel her influence “until now”. I get it as a sign that Luna Heartsong is more than just one of the most powerful Luna that ever existed.

The Moon Goddess had also blessed her with respectable positions and charisma that made other werewolves shiver with fear upon hearing her name. At the same time, Alora’s parents are just as high-handed and authoritative as the bully Sarah. That’s why her parents agree to chain Alora. After all, these “authoritative” figures in Alora’s life feel threatened by Alora’s presence.

At the same time, enduring such hardship doesn’t mean Alora has to hide herself for a long time. So, I admire Alora’s resilience in Werewolf’s Heartsong novel. She also does nothing wrong in being the most kickass heroine.

Part 4: An Alternative Novel To Werewolf’s Heartsong

Alternative To Werewolf's Heartsong

Punching, kicking, showing drop-dead gorgeous physical features, and being cool, calm, and collected without even trying: Alora Northmountain of Werewolf’s Heartsong novel seems the perfect definition of a kickass heroine in werewolf romance novels. Even Matt, her sister’s mate, desires for her, as well as other male werewolves.

Alora could’ve replaced her Alpha father if Sarah and her parents supported her. Nobody can stop Alora when she rises to the Alpha position, including Sarah and her parents. So, what if the alternative novel has an Alpha female as the heroine with a much more stable family life?

To answer such a question, you can read Alpha Queen on the Dreame platform. No, this novel is not about a she-wolf mated to a powerful Alpha, which has been a recurring theme in other werewolf stories. It’s also not about an Alpha female attracting many gorgeous-looking male werewolves in her life.

Being the Alpha’s daughter means Liviana “Livi” Crest becomes the future Alpha of her pack. No matter how ridiculous it might sound to other Alpha werewolves, which are male-dominated, Livi will take her position, no matter what. Not only does Livi replace her father’s Alpha position, but she also becomes the first woman to rise to the Alpha position. That’s another level of a queen!
