Sui Meng used to lead a busy life on earth. A life full of fun prior to the incident, she had gone to have a drink with her colleagues, and after getting wasted she had gone to bed but then mysteriously woke up in the body of a sixteen-year-old other-worldly girl, on a planet she was sure that wasn’t earth.
This place looked so futuristic that she wondered if this was an alternate universe or if she had traveled into the future. When she’d gone to research it, Sui Meng found out about the rich history, politics, and system of this strange planet ruled by humans and the discrimination against the hybrid people like the girl she had possessed her body.
The Earth Federation which was the name of this place was fought and taken over by humans after they had been shipped off from a dying earth hundreds of years ago by alien species who saw potential in them and then enslaved by these aliens.
Being humans, they had pretended to be docile and learned the secrets and tapped from the knowledge of these aliens before they revolted and overthrew these aliens.
Now they had defeated their slavers, humans began to conquer other planets, while also partnering with other intelligent life forms that shared the same ideology with them.
However, while they were partners, humans had a talent for cultivation that allowed their bodies to morph and develop supernatural strength and abilities which was why they did not encourage intermarriage between these aliens as it would dilute their pure human gene which was what made them special as other aliens did not have this talent of cultivation.
There were humans who did not care about this and married aliens and so their children who were hybrids were then discriminated against by the pure human kids who had superior cultivation than them.
Sophie, the girl who Sui Meng had possessed her body was part of this hybrid offspring, and while Sui Meng was determined to find a way home, she swore to first make the kids who bullied Sophie in school because she was a hybrid pay before anything else.
To do this, Sui Meng had to upgrade Sophie’s cultivation so she could match these kids. For more books like this, check

Part 1: Main Characters of The Spider Queen
Sui Meng / Sophie Peterlor
Sui Meng / Sophie Peterlor is the main protagonist of The Spider Queen. Sui Meng is the woman who was transmigrated into Sophie Peterlor’s body when she went to bed after a busy day of drinking with her colleagues.
She has a fiery temper and isn’t one to sit about and let herself be bullied, unlike Sophie Peterley who is shy. Sui Meng is originally from China.
Sophie Peterlor the girl who Sui Meng possessed is contrastingly different from her alter ego Sui Meng. Unlike Sui Meng who’s rash and hot-tempered, she’s shy and this can be attributed to the fact that she had always been bullied for being a hybrid.
She’s sixteen years old and other-worldly pretty due to modified genes, and she comes from an affluent family as her father is the head of a prestigious duke house, and she’s the heir of her family, although letting hybrids being heirs to high-ranking offices is not encouraged by the royal family.
Sophie’s mom died when she was a kid, leaving her with just a weird star-shaped necklace.
Leona Braveheart
Leona Braveheart is a beautiful slender girl with dark chocolate skin. She’s the heir of a reputable duke’s house just like Sophie’s. In school, she wears a white uniform with eight stars which indicates that she has attained a qi body stage eight of cultivation. She’s the leader of the group of girls that constantly bully Sophie.
Before that, she used to be best friends with Sophie but stopped associating herself with her because she was a hybrid and that it would ruin her image. Because Sophie had always been nice to her, it made her feel guilty which made her begin to hate Sophie for that.

Chapter Three
After Sui Meng decided to take a break from learning about the Earth Federation, she was about to leave the library before she was intercepted by the girls who always bullied Sophie. They tried to bully her but unlike Sophie, Sui Meng decided to stand up for herself.
Walking up to the girls, she threw filth at them with her sarcastic comments. It even got her madder when she realized the type of wicked person Leona was after she searched Sophie’s memory banks.
Leona who had had enough of Sophie trying to expose her walked to Sui Meng and sent her flying into a reading pod with just a tip of her powers.
She was a qi body eight, and Sophie was a qi body two so she was no match for her. However, Sui Meng refused to let this slide and promised to take revenge after she had successfully upgraded Sophie’s cultivation level.
Chapter Five
Delving into the Peterlor’s family history, Sui Meng learned that House Peterlor lineage went all way to the early years of Earth Federation, and had their own private territory which was an entire moon Luna-137 which orbited around the planet Jupiter; while the later generations of the family settled down in Gaia as members of the Senate.
The house was indeed prestigious, wealthy, and influential but had almost been run to the ground by Sophie’s grandfather who spent their resources heavily on womanizing and pissing off their supporters and bearing bastard children across the galaxy.
After his death and without announcing an heir, the position was fought for with many dying before Sophie’s father succeeded in taking over.
This was because he was strong. He was so talented that became a god stage cultivator at the age of forty before he mysteriously disappeared and reappeared a few years later with his hybrid daughter Sophie.
