Part 1: Meet the Main Character of My Husband is a Gary Stu
Genevieve
She is a naive and sheltered woman who suddenly gets thrown into a harsh reality that she could never have seen coming. Though she had no fault in the mistakes that led to her fall, she could have prevented everything had she has been a little more cautious and inquisitive. Genevieve is completely made into a laughingstock and a target of hate by two people she trusted so much.
Really, following a random text and landing yourself in a dark room with a person you immediately believed to be your husband? That just spells foolishness. But nevertheless, she did not deserve the ruin that came afterward. The man she had loved since childhood turned out to be a sociopath that was out to get revenge on her family for supposedly killing him when he was little. He didn’t mind using her as a pawn in his plan because she was part of the Rochford family anyway.
Genevieve really does get a taste of a life that she never experienced as the daughter and heiress of a conglomerate. It was the harsh slap that she needed in order to wake her up from the silly daydreams of a perfect life and a perfect marriage.

Part 2: Plot Summary of My Husband is a Gary Stu
The tale is about Genevieve, a woman who expected to catch a cheating husband, only to have herself caught in the act itself. Genevieve arrived at the airport, following a text she received from an unknown sender. She arrives at the hotel and goes to the specified room, only to have herself grabbed inside and pushed down. Genevieve thought it had all been a prank from her husband who now lay in her arms, ready to fulfill the intimacy that was one year late in their marriage. Yes, even though they’d been married for over a year, they had yet to consummate their marriage. So, imagine how ecstatic Genevieve was. So ecstatic that she didn’t check the identity of the man she was sleeping with. Of course, it was dark.
Scandal
The next morning, Genevieve woke up alone to find a necklace she happily put on. However, the next moment, the room was flooded with reporters talking about her infidelity and her burgeoning love affair. It was useless for Genevieve who tried to defend herself by stating that it was her husband she had been with. Then, the husband he mentioned, showed up and shut her up with a slap.
Genevieve was left humiliated and in a pathetic state in front of all those cameras. One blackout later, she came awake and had to face her grandmother who was taken to the hospital because her health took a hit. The woman was able to sit up and give Genevieve another slap for ruining the family. Genevieve thought it was the scandal, but then she got the big blow; the majority of shares in the company were now possessed by her husband.
Revenge
That day alone, Genevieve took one hit after another as the truth of everything was exposed before her. Her husband set her up and took everything she had, in the process humiliating her in front of the whole world. Why? It was because he had a score to settle with her family. The man that Genevieve thought was an angel, was a vengeful devil. Not just that, he was a devil that had a son with Genevieve’s good friend. Both of these evil rats were working together for a long time. Can Genevieve reclaim what she lost? Should she accept the help of the stranger she had a tryst with?

Chapter Six
Genevieve just learned that the man she called her husband had killed her parents. These were the people who gave him everything but Specter Corporation.
Genevieve watched the two people as they indulged in each other. They talked about the man who had been the one they prepared in the room that Genevieve entered. They didn’t know who the man was.
Erica and Cooper were pleased with themselves for achieving so much. Now, Genevieve had no one by her side except her grandmother. Cooper stomped out the brief irritation he felt when he remembered Genevieve’s sorry state in the rain. The Rachford family owed it to him, and he was just taking what was rightfully his.
Genevieve saw all of it and heard all of it. Everything that occurred combined with her time in the rain caused Genevieve to faint.
She woke up in a Victorian room and when she remembered everything, she rushed out of there. She met the man whom she’d slept with just outside. She asked for a car. He mocked her for what she was going to do which would inevitably result in another humiliation, but still, he provided her with the keys to a car.
Genevieve didn’t bother with his mockery even though she was embarrassed: she took the keys and drove to Erica’s residence, knowing she would have no luck with Specter Corporation where she wasn’t allowed to enter.
When Genevieve arrived, and was about to go in through the gate. But right then, she saw the boy playing in the garden.
