Though a werewolf novel, My Fated Human Luna has an urban setting, where the werewolves here lived in a modern world and interacted with humans. Although the werewolves’ lifestyle in this story is modern, their traditions are still conservative, particularly with their views on pack preservation and marriage. This is evident in how Archer’s parents pushed him to have a chosen mate instead of a fated mate because they are pressured by the pack’s duty.
Yet, Archer of My Fated Human Luna is one hopeless romantic who still believes in the mood goddess gift of fated mates. So, he continually refuses his parents. As for the world-building of My Fated Human Luna, this romance novel appears more like an urban drama tackling marital issues rather than a fantasy werewolf romance. There is not much exposition of the werewolves’ world perhaps because most of the characters’ interactions are in the human world, given that the female lead is a human.

Sabrina of My Fated Human Luna has a solid characterization. It’s clear that she’s the human Luna in this story. She’s got a solid character background, which is being a nurse and a mother caught up in a problematic marriage. Rather than that, unlike other werewolves’ books, her character isn’t that striking perhaps because she’s been woven with lots of realistic aspects instead of an ideal dream-like female lead. Yet, on the other hand, it is notable how her character here in My Fated Human Luna exudes maternal strength, and nevertheless, she deserves to be happy.
Archer
He is a dream guy. Archer Lyon of My Fated Human Luna is crafted to be a charming male lead, one that would thrill the readers’ hearts. He’s got nice credentials. Handsome. Kind. Rich. An established lawyer, and an alpha. Given his background and Sabrina’s, they were too opposite. Archer’s characterization here in My Fated Human Luna is effective to intensify the drama surrounding the story’s conflict.
Greg
He is the asshole but it is not clear if his character is a villain. You need to read more of My Fated Human Luna to find out more depth of Greg’s character. It is certain that Greg of My Fated Human Luna is the kind of guy you will dislike. He is a married man who cheats because he’s bored, and when he got caught he was begging sorry and crying in desperation for Sabrina not to leave him, then acting in the end like it’s not his fault. Given those characteristics, Greg’s character here in My Fated Luna keeps the readers curious as to what more he will become in the latter part of the story.
