The story tells of a woman who basically was living the life she’d always dreamed of, or rather living with the man she always wanted. The marriage wasn’t overly filled with sweetness, nevertheless, she was content with what she had. Unfortunately, it wasn’t made to last. The man she married suddenly gives her divorce papers. What are her choices in this matter? In the first place, she had known that everything rested atop a house of cards. One small breeze was all it took to knock it all down. Now, here she lay on the floor with bruises and a shattered heart.
The story is peculiar and mildly frustrating. I find myself questioning the motives of the self-centered and irresponsible man who recklessly toyed with a woman’s heart. There’s nothing he can say to defend his actions and it’s only karma when his ass is plunged into the darkness of despair and regret.
Mix all of this with some fantasy, and you’ve got a masterpiece.

Part 1: Plot Summary of Mr. Ford is Jealous
The story follows Stella who gets married to a man she could only have imagined being with her. He was perfect; handsome and carried himself with cool detachment. She had known him when they went to the same school, but he didn’t know her and even now, he has no idea that they went to the same school. Imagine Stella’s surprise when she was suddenly proposed to by a man without any prior warning or slight semblance of a relationship. Of course, she said yes. It came at a time when she was in dire need of financial help, and he offered to take care of her problem if she agreed.
That was how Stella found herself married to the rich and handsome Weston Ford. However, it’s been a while since they’ve been married – a span of nearly six months, after a night of intimacy, he presents her with divorce papers. Stella could not refuse it. In the end, she received help from Weston through the marriage. It had created a space for her as Mrs. Ford and solved her dire financial needs.
However, it’s one thing to accept that your husband wants to divorce you because he’s tired of you, and it’s another thing entirely that he wants to divorce you because he found someone else that he loves and is having a baby with her. No to mention, the pregnancy was older than their marriage.
His Omission
Weston Ford is a man of many mysteries and secrets. Stella, unfortunately, comes out on the wrong end of things, practically smacked across the face with a truth she didn’t think was possible.
Not saying certain things, in other words, omission, is a deadly act. It could provide protection and relief for the person who has something to hide, but the truth will prevail no matter what. It’s a simple rule that nothing stays hidden forever.
Stella had walked into something that was guaranteed to cause her pain, and she had done that with a happy and oblivious heart. Well, since he wished to leave, he should not bother her anymore. But how could that be when the universe is watching everything?
Part 2: Meet the Main Character of Mr. Ford is Jealous
Stella
She is a woman with a quiet disposition and a heart of kindness. She is almost timid and reserved, but it all is different when she is around those she cares about. Stella has been through a lot all on her own. She is unable to find reprieve from the hard life she is forced to endure with financial problems piling onto her head.
Stella might have thought that the universe finally took pity on her and therefore gave Weston to her. However, a splash of cold water came later when she received divorce papers. Was it just her naïve thinking that they could have made something out of what held no meaning for Weston? Or was it that she didn’t do enough to preserve her marriage?
All these questions flew out the window when she heard the real reason. Honestly, there’s no woman who wouldn’t be a bit frustrated, furious, and/or annoyed in this sort of situation. A dream quickly turned into a ghoulish nightmare, and Stella had a front-row seat to the pain and sadness.
She is a woman taken to her limits of acceptance but, makes the practical choice not to be the one that holds her husband back. However, while she may not have done much about it, there is much that will be corrected for the sake of balance and karma. Weston Ford will regret hurting Stella Sealy. Hopefully, she had the common sense not to falter in her resolve.
Part 3: Intense Chapter from Mr. Ford is Jealous
Chapter Five
A woman’s voice interrupted the atmosphere between Stella and Weston. Guinevere called out to Weston and when she noticed the two of them, she slowed down, evidently surprised to find them together. She inquired if Stella needed anything else and as she stood beside Weston, she latched onto his arm.
Weston frowned slightly, but he didn’t push her away. He asked if they knew each other, and Guinevere answered that they had only just met, and she thought Stella was a fan. She’d just told Stella that she was pregnant with a Mr. Ford, but he couldn’t be the same Mr. Ford that Stella knew. Guinevere’s Mr. Ford did not have that many female friends.
Now, Stella felt as if she had been struck by lightning when she saw the intimacy between Weston and Guinevere. Stella suddenly referred to Weston as Mr. Ford which caused the man to feel a slight irritation. Guinevere took the cue and introduced Weston as her fiance who came to accompany her for her prenatal checkup.
Stella’s eyes reddened as she asked if the child belonged to Mr. Ford. Guinevere happily answered in the affirmative. Then she came to a realization and asked if Stella knew her fiance. Guinevere turned to Weston and Stella reflexively did the same thing. A short moment later, she heard him say he didn’t know her.
Stella took a step back at that and Guinevere was relieved as she proclaimed that if Weston really had gained a female friend whom she knew nothing about, she would have aborted his child six months prior. Stella shuddered as she stared at Weston in disbelief. She and Weston have been married for six months.
I love books with such a way of pulling every kind of emotion to the surface like this. If you like this one, then I’d recommend Queen of the Vampires.
