In this novel, Master Odell’s Secret Ex-Wife is Sylvia Ross. She lived in an exclusive upper-class residence named Victoria Lake Villa in the southwest part of Westchester City when she was Sylvia Carter.
However, in Master Odell’s Secret Ex-Wife, Sylvia’s status as Odell’s wife only goes as far as a documented status. Tara Avery was not only the mistress who “owned” the villa. After all, Odell loves Tara, not Sylvia.
Even if Tara is never present, Odell focuses more on his Carter Corporation business. He doesn’t do the same for his affection for Sylvia. Even though Odell and Sylvia have been married for two years, Sylvia never saw Odell for two full months due to some business-related matters. Isabel and Liam deserve a much kinder father! That’s the main message I get from Master Odell’s Secret Ex-Wife Chapter 18. In particular, Liam has always been a withdrawn kid with no adult figures to show him how authentic love between brothers, sisters, and families should be. Yet, it all changes when he meets Isabel.
Odell doesn’t feel enough to let Sylvia live peacefully with Aunt Tonya. He uses his bodyguards’ powers to take Isabel away from her mother. In Master Odell’s Secret Ex-Wife Chapter 18, I admire Sylvia’s bravery in challenging a paternity test. Aunt Tonya is a protective figure, too, which makes her an attractive supporting character.

Odell’s faithful butlers also see it. Unfortunately, the kids are way faster than those adults. So, they run as fast as possible before Odell and his bodyguards find them.
Master Odell’s Secret Ex-Wife Chapter 50
Master Odell’s Secret Ex-Wife Chapter 50 is your go-to answer for a chapter with more intense dialogue portions between the cold and ruthless billionaire and his mistress. In the first half of this chapter’s paragraphs, we see Tara trying to stop Sylvia from “using” the kids to return to Odell. Meanwhile, Odell still loves Tara. So, he always responds to her.
None of Sylvia’s kids want to talk to their father! Thankfully, Madam Carter is supportive of Sylvia and her kids. Even when Sylvia attends a ball meeting, the kids cling to her, not Odell, their nasty father! Still, Odell somehow manages to break Sylvia’s plan of taking the kids to a park after the ball. His cold voice interrupts her quality time with her kids.

I believe one of the elements the author wants to stress in this novel is “Master” Odell Carter, Sylvia’s ruthless and abusive husband.
I’ve seen several other novels with the same characteristic dynamics. After all, billionaires are at the peak of their careers. Odell is no exception. He doesn’t only focus on developing his businesses in general. Some later chapters of Master Odell’s Secret Ex-Wife show Carter Corporation, a business under his lead, has developed an unrivaled future city around its operational areas.
Yet, the abusive part is the characteristic that makes Odell become one of the most mind-blowing characters in Master Odell’s Secret Ex-Wife. While he clearly values Tara, his ex-girlfriend, and mistress, over Sylvia, his legal wife, and has abused Sylvia physically and mentally, he keeps on making scenes to make Sylvia and their kids suffer.
Authors always picture children as innocent beings who know almost nothing about the world they live in. It’s an entirely different story in Master Odell’s Secret Ex-Wife. I can see Isabel and Liam’s street-smart attitude in solving problems around them. They have impressed not only adults in the novel (except for some characters, like their nasty father) but also me as one of the readers.
If there was a thing that confuses me in reading Master Odell’s Secret Ex-Wife novel, that one element would be the novel’s title. The title should be “Secret Ex-Wife”. At the same time, Odell has a mistress. I was confused as to why the author made Sylvia the female MC and not Tara. In other words, how will Eggsoup develop Tara and her relationships with Odell afterward?

Secretly Married To A Billionaire has an identical storyline to Master Odell’s Secret Ex-Wife. This Dreame novel tells stories about a woman who lives in an unhappy marriage with her billionaire husband. Like Sylvia in Master Odell’s Secret Ex-Wife, her husband’s feelings for someone else are one of the woman’s sources of unhappiness.
In Dreame’s Secretly Married To A Billionaire, we enter the world of Tamara Harolds, a young and beautiful woman coming from a wealthy family background. She is married to Geoffrey “Geoff” Montaigner. However, Tamara feels lonely because she never feels her husband’s love. Only a few people know about their married statuses.
Geoff treats Tamara as his darkest secret. Furthermore, he refers to Tamara as his reason for never revealing his identity to another woman he loves. Each time Tamara asks him why, he commits violence to her physical and mental conditions. Upon reading this part, I feel this part is highly similar to the relationship dynamics between Odell and Sylvia in Master Odell’s Secret Ex-Wife.
