Part 1: His Dark Obsession Summary
On her eighteenth birthday, Evangeline believes that her miserable life will finally take a turn for something better. Unfortunately, things only get worse for her, as her nobody self means nothing to the majority of the people from the pack.
Grandmother Philomena wishes the girl a happy birthday, displaying for her a beautiful and delicious cake. Nothing can please Evangeline though, as last night she stood under the moon like she was supposed to and nothing happened. She didn’t shift. Even more, she didn’t feel the presence of any wolf inside.
Sure, grandma Philomena might be wrong about her birth date, as Evangeline lost her memories and she has no idea how old she really is, but the Oracle has made its estimation and it had to be right.
The Alpha’s son, Sinclair was also excited for Evangeline to finally turn eighteen and get her wolf, as the two of them like each other, but now he is disappointed, so he turns around and leaves. A heartbroken Evangeline can’t even blame the boy for running away. Who would want such a worthless Luna?
During her birthday party, Evangeline realizes that everyone came just so they could see Sinclair. And, since he was nowhere to be found, Celia, the daughter of the Alpha of the Wolf Arrow pack attacks the girl with snarky remarks. She calls Evangeline trash and fat.

Philomena surprises the two of them and announces to the girl that she will attend a ball the next day, where there will be many Alphas. The Luna offers Evangeline to the cruel Alpha Zedkiel, who plans to make the girl his sexual slave.

An awesome thing about His Dark Obsession is that all the chapters are intense and filled with action and suspense, not to mention that there are also steamy sequences, well portrayed by the author.

The Luna scolded the young girl, accusing her of trying to embarrass their family, so she apologized. Oddly, Zedkiel Vilkas seemed very familiar to Evangeline. It’s like she saw him before, or like she feels that the man will be part of her future.
Wearing casual clothes, unlike the other attendants at the party, Zedkiel stood out. He was handsome and his mere presence was imposing, making everyone feel awkward around him.
Evangeline is seated at the same table as the other Omegas, who belonged to different Alphas. Hearing that the girl belonged to no one, the Omegas realized that Evangeline was brought to the party as a gift.
A sudden thud disrupted the girl’s train of thought as Sinclair was pinned to the wall by none other than Alpha Zedkiel. Evangeline tried to defend the boy she loved, which only caused more trouble for the two of them.
