Something about an impossible love is thrilling. But where it borders on abuse resulting from teenage angst and terminal puberty malfunction, we have to check if the author is allowed to be this ruthless. Denying the Alpha is a tale that you are not going to forget any time soon.

Part 1: Main Character of Denying the Alpha

Faith

Denying the Alpha: Faith

She is a tough young woman. I kid you not when I say that her heart is thorny and unexpectedly resolved in ways you can’t imagine.

Faith who suddenly faces a crisis of love at her young age, does something that few women can do in her position; she hardens her mind to the compelling thoughts of returning to his arms and trying to fix things.

Basically, he didn’t want her. So, why should she have to go and plead for him to come to her? Not to mention the fact that this bastard slept with her sister and continues to do so regardless of the knowledge that his mate is watching.

Unfortunately, while Faith’s resolve is unbending and fierce, her wolf’s is not; Sapphire wanted nothing more than to be close to her mate.

It gets even more harder for Faith when she realizes that despite the violent treatment he gave her, she was terribly attracted to Declan.

In Denying the Alpha, Faith’s journey has no determined course. Her mate was terrible, and she has to be free of him. There’s only one way she can live peacefully without any attachment to this man-child.

Denying the Alpha is a slippery thing and abundantly filled with controversial themes. I don’t know about you, but this kind of stuff is entertainment for a Friday nighttime read. See the next book that’s bound to keep you turning pages.

Part 2: The Story of Denying the Alpha

Denying the Alpha: Declan

The story follows Faith who finally enters womanhood. It’s the day where everything she’d hoped for would happen. It was all going great too. A bright sunny day, a wonderful scent in the air that made her unable to control her legs.

However, the destination was the earth-shattering point of reality. How was it possible that the person given to her by the goddess would turn out to b such a bastard. It was all going well, so what is this rubbish?

Faith sees the man who turned out to be her mate, Declan John Smith, screwing her sister, Samantha. He doesn’t even care; Declan sends a smile towards Faith as he goes on pounding.

With her heart broken in pieces, Faith runs away from the scene. What could possibly redeem this asshole for something like this? Well, the author gives us the reason as childhood misfortune and loss. Apparently, Declan holds a grudge at faith for getting his older brother killed when she was only two months old.

I’ve never seen such next level stupidity. The author makes us see that though Declan understands that Faith couldn’t be at fault, his mother can’t help but blame her. Why? Well, it’s because her son died while trying to protect Faith from rogues.

However, Declan had also been eight months old and could easily have been the one in his brother’s arms.

It’s a messed-up reason to torture another human being and that’s final.

Good luck to the two of them though. Attraction is hard to fight or suppress and regret even harder.

Part 3: An Analysis of Denying the Alpha

Denying the Alpha: Faith and Declan

Denying the Alpha goes into the lives of two people who are thrust together by the hands of destiny. But sadly, it is not meant to be.

We can’t even call this a misunderstanding. Maybe a better way to refer to this is a misallocation of blame. We could probably say that it is the older generation’s fault, but those people aren’t even mature enough to see what they’re doing to their kids.

I fell in love with the drama in Denying the Alpha. It makes me tense and I feel like it’s a very funny piece. It does not let you down in the dramatic and comedic side but also in the violent side. Yes, it’s still that age where men hit women like they’re tools meant to please them. This male is the most selfish and annoying existence I have come across in a book this week.

How does such a fickle and childish bastard exist? The author really did the impossible this time. There is no excuse for hitting a woman like this, but here it’s happening right in front of our eyes. I do not care about his backstory; this is a complete douche and I wish to have a serious talk with the author about this.

Not every character can be redeemed.

Part 4: Great Chapter from Denying the Alpha

Denying the Alpha: Meant to be

Chapter Nine

Faith felt the burning, first in her stomach. She thought it was just cramps which meant her heat period would not be far off.

However, the cramping continued to worsen with every passing second. Her whole body heaved with the force of it. She felt her heart hurting the most. Faith clawed her chest, wanting to rip out the organ.

Sapphire soon cried out for Faith to stop. Faith thought to her wolf what was happening, and Sapphire informed her that Declan was mating.

Faith felt bitter about everything. If this is what they were doing to her, then they had to witness it.

She struggled and managed to drag herself slowly and painfully up the stairs to Declan’s room. Faith threw the door open and saw Declan on his knees behind her sister. He smirked at Faith, then grabbed Samantha’s hips and slammed into her again and again.

Samantha bore that same stupid look of surprise as the first time they had been caught.

Sapphire cussed the wench, and her words were the last thing Faith heard before she passed out.

Two weeks later, Faith woke up to her mother’s broken voice crying beside her.

After Faith had a glass of water, they sat for a few minutes before Faith assured her mother that she was fine.

However, not long after, Declan and Samantha appeared. Faith was bemused to hear that they had found her and brought her over.

Growing annoyed at her sister, she finally rebuked her for sleeping with Declan. The secret they were trying to hide was finally out.
