In CEO Above, Me Below, Shi XiaoNian was a cartoonist that found herself in the world of the rich, famous, elite, and ruthless businessman, Gong Ou.
She supposedly was in a dream, in this dream, she was in a tall palazzo. The author describes the palace in the middle of the forest, with the apex of the building bursting through the clouds. Ordinarily looking up at the building, one’s eyes could not meet the end of the building. It was a fortress.
In CEO Above, Me Below, Shi XiaoNian was in a presidential room, extremely luxurious and elegant when she woke up to the heat in the room. Yes, the heater in the room had been turned on to nearly the highest point as she drifted awake because of the discomfort that she felt.
When I first started reading the book, I thought it was only the weather, I didn’t know that someone was sitting beside her as she slept, waiting for her to wake up after the heat had scorched her nearly to death.

Shi XiaoNin woke up terrified. First of all, she had not the slightest idea how she ended up in that humongous, fancy room, and then…who was this man? Gong Ou glared at her, hate and contempt obvious in his eyes as he glared at the woman.
The man, elegant, handsome, and domineering, demanded the most random thing for Shi XiaoNin. He wanted her to hand his child over to him. His child? But Shi XiaoNin could swear that she had never been with a man, more so, this particular man. But the man looked familiar.
In CEO Above, Me Below Book, Shi XiaoNin stared at the man, stupefied beyond words as she didn’t know what he was talking about. She told Gong Ou that she had never had a child before, and Gong Ou proceeded to say that he would have to be the judge of that. The next thing that happened to Shi Xiaoping was that Gong Ou laid his hands on her.
Yes, In CEO Above, Me Below, Gong Ou insisted that he must inspect Gong Ou first before he would believe that she had not borne a child in her life, more so for him. Of course, Shi Xiaonin started to panic but what good would she panicking do, Gong Ou recklessly tore the quilt away from her and proceeded to a scar on her belly.
Shi XiaoNin said that the scar was from an appendicitis operation, and so Gong Ou proceeded down to her sensitive woman part and raped her.
Shi XiaoNin woke up and found herself in her little apartment and not in a luxurious room in a palazzo in the middle of the forest. She was confused.
Did it mean that she was dreaming the entire time she was seeing Gong Ou demanding a child that she claimed did not exist? How possible? In CEO Above, Me Below Book, Shi XiaoNin suddenly saw a news journal beside her, and on the front page was the face of the man that she had just encountered in her “‘dream.”
She looked at the name of the man and frowned. Gong Ou. That must have been why he looked so familiar to her in the “‘dream,” as she was sure that she had been reading the journal, and had seen his face before she slept off, hence the dream.

But it did not end there for Shin XiaoNin in CEO Above, Me Below. A cartoonist and all-around artist, she went about her business as usual, trying as hard as she could to push back the very disturbing dream that she had.
She leisurely went to the sauna to relax when something strange happened, and this time, she was a hundred percent sure that it was happening in real life. In the female bathroom of the spa she was in before she would head over to her sauna session, she heard the urgent cries of the other female clients in the bathroom just like her. Several men had entered the bathroom.
Gong Ou’s bodyguards in CEO Above, Me Below Book, paved the way for him to enter the bathroom in a bid to humiliate Shin XiaoNin the more. After clearing the entire bathroom, leaving only Shin XiaoNin inside with Gong Ou, Gong Ou raped Shin XiaoNin again, claiming that she was desperate for a man after all.
He had been stalking her and had seen her go on numerous blind dates in the recent past, and that was one of the topics that Gong Ou used to humiliate Shin XiaoNin while he ravaged her. Again, he asked her to give him the child that she bore for him three years ago, but Shin XiaoNin was still in the dark about his request.

Chapters 1-5
The first chapter of CEO Above, Me Below narrates Shin XiaoNin’s dream/hallucination. She was in a huge house in the middle of the forest, sleeping as the scorching heat baked her subtly. Waking up due to the discomfort that she felt, she saw a man, tall and languid, and oozing power and hate for her, staring down at her, demanding a baby she was not aware of, and proceeding to rape her.
The other beginning chapters of CEO Above, Me Below Book narrates the dilemma of Shin XiaoNin and how she sought to overcome her lack of having a man in her life by joining dating sites and going on multiple blind dates that did nothing but disgust her.
Eventually, she met with Gong Ou again, and he continued to demand this baby that she had no idea of and even asked his guards to take her away with them.
Part 3: Evaluate CEO Above, Me Belowa
Well, CEO Above, Me Below is a good read. If one is bored and seeks to dive into another world of fiction and fantasy, then the book will do justice to whoever this person might be.
The author narrates the plot of the book concisely and goes straight to the point with little to no beating around the bush in a bid to make up words for the book. Clear grammar and a decent pace also make the book easy to read. Ten out of ten, I will recommend CEO Above, Me Below to online novel lovers.
