In Loving The Devil, Hannah is a good daughter who trusts and loves her father very much. Even though her mom died when she was young, living with her dad and her younger brother was fine until their company faced bankruptcy.
They moved to New York and bounced back again in the business world, yet the glory of their business was not restored as before even though with the help of his father’s friend who loaned him 5 million dollars.
So, now, his father’s friend asked one thing in return – Hannah has to marry his son. Without hesitation, Hannah agreed to the deal because he trusted her father’s words that the man whom she will marry would make a good husband, but, is he a good man or would she find herself, in the end, Loving The Devil?
Jackson Smith is the male lead of Loving The Devil. He was broken from his previous marriage. Until he was betrayed by a girl whom he trusted and loved much, he was then a non-believer in love and a fan of the innocent face.
For her, the beauty and innocence of a woman are just weapons to trick him. Mending his broken heart, he lived his life making out with women without caring about their family’s reputation.
So, in Loving The Devil, Jackson Smith was the typical playboy who was always the headline of magazines for some naughty news. And his father was freaking out about his behavior. So, he arranged a marriage for his son, thinking that this marriage would tame him this time.
The deal is if Jackson would refuse the marriage then he would not inherit the company. So, Jackson is without a choice but to say yes. But the question is, would Hannah be enough to mend Jackson’s, broken heart? And would he love her in return or will she just end up heartbroken too for Loving The Devil?

the Loving The Devil Chapter 3 – The Wedding
The highlight of Loving The Devil chapter 3 is the wedding scene. Hannah was beautiful in her simple laced gown. The wedding day was the first time she and Jackson will meet each other since both of them agreed not to meet until the wedding day.
During the wedding ceremony, Jackson was cold, and Hannah finds his action a bit humiliating. He doesn’t even glance at her, nor talk to her even up to the wedding reception. So, she was alone in the reception dance when Zack, Jackson’s cousin approached her.
Zack was a nice and funny guy Hannah found his presence comforting from the embarrassment she was getting from Jackson throughout the ceremony.
The funny thing in Loving The Devil chapter 3 was when Hannah was enjoying the dance with Zack, Jackson suddenly interrupted them and dragged her into the car, and they went home.
At home, Hannah was surprised about how huge Jackson’s mansion is, so she made a petty comment, but Jackson was hostile to her, accusing her that she married him only for money.
the Loving The Devil Chapter 4 – Gold Digger
This is a painful chapter of Loving The Devil. At this point, Jackson was still tormented by his ex-wife’s memory, of how he had loved her truly, and how he got betrayed.
After his wedding with Hannah, Jackson drowned himself in the bar, only to get home seeing Hannah sleeping on their bed. He yanked her out and yelled at her to sleep on the couch. Hannah was teary-eyed about Jackson’s hostile behavior.
While deep inside, Jackson was fighting the guilt and attraction he felt for Hannah. He felt guilty seeing how he hurt her, yet he kept on convincing himself that Hannah deserves such treatment for she was like her innocent-faced ex-wife.
Although he finds Hannah attractive yet he has to keep it to himself and avoid her for his distrust was eating him all up. For Jackson, Hannah is just another gold digger.
the Loving The Devil Chapter 6- Dinner With The Seductress
You would hate Jackson in this chapter of Loving The Devil. You would pity Hannah and feel the pain in this chapter. So, Hannah was hanging on to her father’s words that arranged marriage could work out, while Jackson was still haunted by the pain his ex-wife had caused her.
Some scenes in this chapter of Loving The Devil would thrill you, yet you will get annoyed by Jackson in the end. Like the bathroom kiss scene, Jackson couldn’t control his attraction to Hannah so he kissed her, that was a romantic scene until Jackson mocked her after calling her a slut gold digger.
But one of the most heartbreaking scenes in this Loving The Devil Chapter is when Hannah prepared dinner for Jackson.
But before that, there is this scene first where Jackson was annoyed with his father for booking them a honeymoon trip to Paris. He was avoiding that place because he has so many memories there of his ex-wife.
So, he comes home pissed only to see Hannah preparing dinner for him.
She really made an effort, although Jackson was engulfed with his attraction towards Hannah throughout the moment, yet he kept reminding herself that she was just her ex-wife, and so he treated her coldly throughout the dinner, proving that there was no way she could be Loving The Devil which is himself.
the Loving The Devil Chapter 13 – Dancing With The Devil
So, a lot of things happened in the previous chapters before this epic scene in Loving The Devil chapter 13. The fake honeymoon in Paris was a roller coaster of emotions. Hannah has been emotionally tortured there finding out that Jackson was flirting with another girl there on their honeymoon day. Good thing, Zack came to the rescue.
You will also love Zack in Loving The Devil. He was the typical side male lead who always rescued Hannad whenever Jackson was dumping her. So, at this point of Loving The Devil, Jackson’s hostility towards Hannah has gone worst all because he couldn’t admit that he was falling for her.
While Hannah was the kind of girl who wouldn’t talk back despite the mean accusations towards her. The confrontation scene in their honeymoon room was satisfying in that it left Jackson dumbfounded.
But what’s more thrilling about this chapter of Loving The Devil, is Jackson’s jealousy towards his cousin Zack is getting intense, to add to the tension, her mom invited them to her party, where Jackson and Hannah need to put on a show that they were a couple in love.
So, while dancing Jackson kissed Hannah, and despite the mean words he’s saying to her still, he cannot deny that he was feeling the contrary, that at this point, he was falling for Hannah.
Loving The Devil is the best thrilling romance book I have read so far on the Dreame app. This will make you cry, annoyed and most of all fall in love. The male lead finally admits to his feelings, and falling in love with the female lead is satisfying.
