On the other hand, Calla doesn’t know that the reason why Adam has been lost for days and hasn’t contacted her for long is that he was so confused about his feelings for her, and he was too scared to admit the truth to himself that he had fallen for Calla.

This is an intense and romantic chapter of Girlfriend For Hire. So, at this point, Adam can no longer contain the jealousy he felt toward all the guys that were courting Calla. There’s Lance, the dog owner, and Cloud, his best friend’s brother.
Adam always flares up and loses his temper whenever he sees Calla interacting with these guys. This time, they were scheduled again to see Adam’s grandmother, and so Calla needed to pose again as his girlfriend as part of the contract.
They argued while they were on their way, but eventually, the argument led to a confession. So, that was the romantic part, Adam finally admitted his real feelings for Calla and said it out loud, and then he decided to break the contract and made Calla his girlfriend for real.
