A life of difficulty, a sorrowful life, and a life of misery and pain are a few of the realities that deal Ivy a heavy hand in His Lost Lycan Luna Novel.
A rogue, she was kept in an orphanage where she had been for eight years until her fate changed. On this fateful day, the Lycan King was visiting the pack’s community, and Ivy and her friend Abbie were responsible for cleaning up the orphanage that they lived in until it was glittering gold.

This they did with zest, but still managed to fall short of their headmistress’ expectations. They were severely lashed on their bare backs for a measly offense, and Ivy bled uncontrollably. The girls, Ivy and Abbie were waiting for their death anyway, so their tears were filled with hope for a final ending. What a life it was for them indeed.

Chapter 2
”Two for each room.”
The sound of the voice of the headmistress of the orphanage was akin to hearing death call out their names. The statement above was made by the headmistress of the orphanage, Mrs. Daley. She said this when she was lashing Ivy and Abbie for failing at their duty posts while cleaning up the dormitory pending the arrival of the Lycan King. Mrs.
Daley, according to His Lost Lycan Luna Novel was particular about having a good face in front of the Lycan King so she wanted an extraordinary job done while cleaning the place. I think if she was that crazy about the place being sparkling clean, she should have hired professionals and not punished those innocent girls. But their fate had been decided for them as rogues so it was a tight situation.
”We were as good as dead anyways. What does it matter if we are late for our own funeral?”
Ivy said this to Abbie in this same chapter of the book. That day, a lot was happening at the same time. The Lycan King was visiting, and it was also the day that the fate of Ivy and Abbie will be decided in the pack that they lived in. Wolves frown at rogues naturally, but the way this particular pack frowned at rogues was a bit too far.
The current Alpha of the pack was rumored not to have spared any rogue that had come of age and would shift to his or her wolf. According to His Lost Lycan Luna Novel, he was surely going to kill those girls; that was what they continued to assure themselves. Their death was going to be a certainty as far as the Alpha of that pack, Alpha Dead was concerned.
Chapter 5
”I now sentence you both to death by beheading.”
Alpha Dean announced this in the community square. That was going to be the fate of Ivy and Abbie just because they were rogues. They were not even rogues by choice as they had not committed any crime, the life of a rogue was shoved to them from birth and there was nothing they could do to avert that according to His Lost Lycan Luna Novel. Well, they were going to die now.
Good riddance, right? In the community, it was even a crime to kill rogues that had not become of age and if not for the fact that help came at the dying minute, Ivy and Abbie would have been killed for real.

”What do you think you are doing?”
That is typically what hope for a brighter future sounded like. The sound of the voice of the Beta to the Lycan King brought hope back to Ivy, who had already been dressed for death. Alpha Dean had his sword raised to strike at her neck when the Beta stopped him. It was a taboo to kill wolves that had not reached their age of meeting the wolves according to His Lost Lycan Luna Novel. The entire onlookers were stunned to witness the intense drama that happened at the community square on this fateful day.
Chapter 6
”What is your name?”
”Rogue sir!”
A dialogue between the Lycan King and Ivy and Abbie ensued at the back of a limo. The Lycan King was getting to know them and they were fidgeting all over the place, he soon left them to be afraid as much as they liked.
The beginning of this chapter according to His Lost Lycan Luna Novel narrated that the Lycan King could not sit still any longer, and died to meet Ivy personally.
According to the Lycan King, ”Her scent was overwhelming me.” He said this about Ivy. Noticing that she must be hurt, he thought it was as a result of the way he gripped her earlier. If only he knew what was going to meet his eyes by the time he looked at her back.
Part 2: Storyline of His Lost Lycan Luna
Ivy and Abbie were at the orphanage but today was a special day for them in so many facets of the word special. Today, The Lycan King was visiting the community and would pass by the orphanage. Today was also the day that the fate of Ivy and Abbie will be decided by the Alpha of their community, Alpha Dean.
Alpha Dean was the son of the last Alpha that had just stepped down, and according to His Lost Lycan Luna Novel, it was against the rules for Alpha Dean to carry out his practice of killing off rogues just because they were rogues.
As soon as a wolf was of age, Alpha Dean had a special day organized for executing the rogue wolf that had reached the age of meeting his or her wolf. This had gone on for years, and it was now time for Ivy and Abbie to face their execution.
Even though there were other options that could be used in getting rid of these rogues, options like selling them off or casting them out of the pack, Alpha Dean would rather choose to kill them. He was crazy about doing this every year and to think that his father abided strictly by the rules would make anyone wonder intensely according to the narrative of His Lost Lycan Luna.
The girls had been lashed by their headmistress until they bled just because they overlooked a patch of dirt after cleaning the entire dormitory all day. Dressed to cover their wounds, they started to head to the community square where they would meet their fate, and that was when the Lycan King showed up.
Hiding his scent in a bid to take everyone unawares, he met Ivy under a basic guise, and his attention could not be drawn from her anymore as she struck him.
Ivy confessed to having perceived a pleasant scent when he arrived at the orphanage, but she did not take anything serious into consideration at the time. According to His Lost Lycan Novel, the Lycan King saved Ivy and her friend, Abbie from death that day.
Just when the Alpha, Dean was gauging Ivy’s neck and was going to sink the blades of his sword in it, the Lycan King arrived having his Beta stop Alpha Dean in his tracks immediately.
Part 3: Conclusion of His Lost Lycan Luna
A sweet book this is. To be honest, Jessica Hall is not overrated at all. She did justice to this book. The feeling behind the book, the gimmick of the characters, and the tone of each chapter is sure to carry readers into the realm of suspense.
I need not mention about the elements of a good novel because Her Lost Lycan Luna Novel embellishes all the elements without trying hard. A recommended book, I guarantee readers will be satisfied after reading the book.
