Part 1: Main Story of His Chosen Mate
Cora’s Mom was really excited to see her. She has been babbling about her nonstop since she told her she was going to come home. She was the only person who truly cares about her in his chosen mate.
Her sister made her understand she cared about her too but not when all of her friends made fun of her. If she thinks she forgot what she have gone through while she was with them and pretended that everything was fine and dandy, then she was wrong.
That was like ten years ago, her sister tried to make her understand she is a better person now. It is not her fault that she got her wolf and Cora didn’t. But to Cora, it was not about her getting her wolf. She never called her even once since she left. Not even a quick text. That shows how much she cares about her.
She didn’t say anything but just when she was about to look away from her, she thought she saw her part her lips to say something, but she wouldn’t want them to continue talking and make this awkward more than it already is.
It looked like a lot of have changed since the last time she was here. The town wasn’t the same anymore. Whoever planned the infrastructure of this town while she was away should be applauded for what they have achieved. It would be more excellent if people in this town had changed for the better as well.
Just when she thought she won’t get surprised, in his chosen mate. His sister pulled the car and stopped at a different driveway. They had moved into a bigger house two years ago. It does look bigger than the house we used to live in.
She quietly got out of the car and took her bag from the boot before stepping into the house, and immediately, her nostrils were hit with the familiar scent of home. Her father and she were not that close, but she don’t know that he loves her. She was closer to her Mom.
She gave her a quick tour around the house and showed her the room she was going to stay in until she got back to London for her graduation.

Chapter 2 of His Chosen Mate
She went for a quick run around the neighborhood in chapter 2 of his chosen mate as it is how she always starts her day in London. It still baffles her how well this town was upgraded that she had to make a mental note to mention it to the Alpha later when she meet him. Every Alpha she knew in the past had one thing in common. They are all very authoritative. Which can be easily interpreted as being rude.
After her run, she took a shower first before coming down to have breakfast with her mother. The sight of freshly made pancakes instantly made her drool, the pancakes look amazing. They even smell delicious.
Her mother sat down next to her and still considered a lot about her. She was remembering how a group of young men and women talked in a hushed manner when they saw her running around.
All these years, she thought she was the only person who was having a hard time in this pack, but then there was her mother as well. She never felt she belonged with the pack either.
Chapter 3 of His Chosen Mate
Her father and the Alpha were talking in chapter 3 of his chosen mate in a room for quite some time and she couldn’t help but feel it was about her. She knows the world doesn’t revolve around her but she can’t just shake off her intuitions.
Her father glanced at her from the corners of his eyes. Her father nodded without looking at her. They had also discussed some pack matters if she was wondering why he was in the Alpha’s room for that long.
But her intuitions were wrong after all. Her father had to make her understand that everyone here abides by the rules and customs of the pack. She might not be a werewolf but that doesn’t mean you do not belong here. That means you have to follow the Alpha’s orders as well.
If she only knew back then that she have to go through rituals and all, she probably wouldn’t have come back but now and got to accept it as it is. Cora hated going out when she was that her father thought you were going to spend the rest of her stay locked up in her room.
Part 3: Conclusion of His Chosen Mate
Cora William’s biggest challenge was that she never phased into her wolf in her life, and for that one reason, she feels disconnected from her pack and decides to further her studies elsewhere when she turned eighteen. The story got off well when Cora’s childhood crush tries to rekindle their friendship with the intention to make her his partner. This is a great read and I will love to recommend it to anyone.
